Wow, guessing you had to drop a PRETTY SPECIFIC hint for that gift.
Peeking under the tree, I see a wrapped LP with my name on the tag...oh the drama...
Cheers,
Spencer
@lewm who's your opponent in Feats of Strength, Mike or Raul? |
@czarivey Miss my FJ60 and 62! Both times someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse |
A pair of slippers that won't stay on my feet. A pair of boots that are guaranteed to keep my feet warm while ice fishing. They look ridiculously large but it's miserable when your feet get cold. I was able to sell some gear that I had listed on FB a couple days ago; the proceeds from which I plan on buying a good used DAC. I cooked a dinner of roast duck and roasted brussels sprouts finished with balsamic vinegar honey glaze, fresh beets and steamed beet greens for my wife and my mother who lives with us. Quiet day. Merry Christmas. |

@jerryg123 What line of IKEA shelf?

Richard Gray 600 power conditioner and holy crap! Absolutely changed my system's sound for thr better. Bass got deeper and cleaner. Highs opened up and detail improved. And all I plugged in was my power amps and speakers (they have integrated powered subs). Need to get another one for the main rack to plug in the preamp, phono stage, and DAC. |
+1 @dekay It's so low rent. |
@grandlarsony I used my butcher blocks on the bottom 2 shelf’s. Sturdy and you can get a wheel kit. Love it.

I was hoping to get my Pathos heritage that I ordered 3+ months ago and the 2 Solid-Tec Reference Rack of Silence but nothing but silence from Upscale Audio. I contacted Solid-Tec buy they washed their hands. Buying in the USA is a nightmare, it is like nobody cares.
It was an awesome Christmas, there were just a few presents for her but nothing major, after everyone left I asked her to listen some music with me and she got so happy when she saw the TT. |
@astolfor Sorry for any delays on the Heritage Astolfo. I think you know we care, but you have a request that we are filling and everything is slow. We've been right on it. Solidtech is another matter. I was going to buy one myself but the company is not going to do well here the way they structure making purchases by end-users. It's way to difficult to sell. The net result is the importer gave up on it. I suspect you told Kat exactly what you want? If so I can try to contact them at the factory. I took on Pathos as the importer because I love it the product is so amazing in every way shape and form, but they are truly artisan-made and slow. Other importers would not invest in inventory and also were not technical enough to explain just why their product is so unique. But I want you to know we do care. I'm never on any forums...ever. But happened to see this. Have great new year. Kevin Deal

Several nice orchids to baby and coax into blooming. Not audiophile I know, but very cool and very appreciated. Audio purchases coming soon now that I am off work for a couple months (landscaper). Dac and phono stage first up I think. I have a few things to sell off. I did purchase a new REL t9x recently so i guess we can say it was an early Xmas gift to myself. Working out very nicely btw. Happy holidays to all!

Nothing Audiophile in nature, I only trust myself for such things....however, what I did get is very nice. I did set up a small system, including a turntable, for my daughter. It makes me happy that she can now enjoy what I do, albeit, on a lower level. It was great fun configuring the system and setting it all up for her. |
