Why hasnt a turntable manufacturer produced a table with automatic tonearm return/shutoff?
There’s a product called Tru-Lift that can be added to turntables that automatically lifts the arm at the end of play
Your favorite obscure song
Live by the Merry Go Round  Girls Talk by Dave Edmunds
John Fogerty Legacy Album
He probably gets to keep all the $$ on this one and not share with the other CCR members. I love CCR but have no interest in this one.
Will be selling two 45 rpm Blue Note Jazz collections. Need advice..
My local used record store pays about $.44 on a dollar resale value. I would think a collection like yours would bring more. good luck
MM Cartridge recommendation
Have you thought of MI cartridges, Soundsmith Otello or a slightly under Carmen would fall nicely into your price range. The rebuilding costs are extremely reasonable when that time comes. I purchased a lightly used Carmen II about 7 years and cou...
Selling towers - keep getting bad actors/scammers when doing local pickup only.
Bought and sold multiple audio items, I always get a name and address of the party I’m doing business with and do a thorough Google search. You can verify a person is who they say they are and much more.
Replace Rogue Cronus 3 with Rogue Pharoah 2 or HiFi Rose rs520 or suggestions
Have you considered one of the Pass models or Parasound. I ran 1.7i with a Parasound HINT with fantastic results, have since moved up to the 3.7i with a Pass set up again fantastic sound. You can stretch your dollar by buying used.
Speaker choice
Have you considered a gently used system. I had magnepan 1.7i with a sub in the exact same space, i think it will give you everything that you’re looking for. Have since made moved to the 3.7i in the same space( that audiophile bug). I’ve always p...
Local pickup for speakers - should I let the buyer in the house or use the the garage?
In my first response I forgot to mention I thoroughly research people I don’t know on Google before doing business with them. You can get lots of info on a person and also call the local PD for background if you’re still worried.
CD's or Vinyl?
As someone with a huge vinyl collection I’d definitely pick the newer remastered CD’s. The best vinyl I’ve heard can approach them but not surpass. Many of the best sounding records are cut from digital anyway.
Magnepan 1.7i vs 2.7i?
Unless your space is extremely small don’t worry. I mover from 1.7i to the 3,7i n a 12 x 15 with a magnificent improvement in sound. If you can swing the 3.7I go for it. I always purchase gently used and have never had a problem.
Local pickup for speakers - should I let the buyer in the house or use the the garage?
I’ve always let folks in and been invited in to verify the equipment is working before a deal. If you feel uneasy have a friend over too.
Your first concert was to see who and when?
Led Zeppelin, MC5 and Johnny Winter 69 or 70 Boston Garden
New vs old Magnepan models
If your budget allows a used pair of 3.7i in that space I’d go for it. I went from 1,7i to the 3.7i in a much smaller 12 x 15 space and the difference was jaw dropping .
Vinyl records & Discwasher cleaner
I think Hudson Hifi and other sellers still have similar products for sale. i still use one to dry clean my spinning disc it’s good at picking up dust, lint and other debris.
