@oldelectricalinspector  You pretty much expressed my exact thoughts.  I read a bunch of whitecameross’s posts years ago and quickly got bored and the same with his YT channel.  But like you said, I wish him well.  
SS amp or receiver that sounds like Tube Amp
Another vote for checking out a Hybrid.  I have a hybrid preamp using 12au7’sand mono blocks using 6922’s so I can tube roll and get the sound I like.  Oh and MOSFET output transistors sound less SS and more tube like. All the best.  
My SACD Transport feeds so much better signal to my DAC compared with streaming end...
@joyceulysses  I have a BS Node N130 and I bought a Teddy Pardo LPS for it and it made a very nice improvement in the sound.    My two cents.

@ronboco  There’s a USB A input on the back of your N130. I have a 4 terabyte hard drive plugged in.  Works like a charm for storing and playing all my music. All the best.
