So you just took a gummie...What song is on the menu?

Spanish Moon

Little Feat

jpwarren58

Ah THC.... The single most, greatest audio tweak to can get. And now legal.

Alva Noto's album HYbr:lD. Song "oval blackhole"

Then

Yosi Horikawa's "Bubbles" from his album Wandering.

Both guaranteed to blow your mind.

Artist: Mary Fahl
Album: From the dark side of the moon

Artist: Tinariwen
Album: Tassili

Artist: CAN
SPOON from album Ege Bamyasi

Stevie Wonder - Maybe your baby

Radio Head - Punch up at a wedding

Some great responses here to a great question. I would simply say picking at random a few of my favorites and listening for the joy of the artistry and any subtle instrumental nuances or undeciphered lyrics as yet unheard.

...and then....

....step into this saucer...

How

Can you be into 2 places, at once, when

You're not anywhere at all..... ;)

Don't bogart that joint my friend. But you can keep the gummie....

Great selections here. I'd add in Hot Tuna/Jorma, electric or acoustic depending on the mood that the gummie(s) brings on.

Jack Straw - Grateful Dead Buffalo 11/9/79

Quite probably the best version I've ever heard. Dancin' > Franklin's Tower from this show is also mind bending, as is most of the very underrated Fall '79 tour.

Kraftwerk 3D Katalog

Zhu

Polyrhythmics Caldera

Sgt Pepper

Peter Gabriel 3

Talking Heads Remain in Light

for this situation my favorites would be in this order

Chris Stapleton. Traveler

Joe Satriani Surfing with the Alien

The Who. Quadrophenia

Lenny Kravitz Let Love Rule

Dylan Blonde in Blonde

Any kind of music goes nicely with cannabis, in my opinion, although with me, 'a gummie' is pretty funny - I've got enough tolerance that I'd need to eat at least 5 bags of gummies to feel anything! I use oil and make edibles with that instead...

Would that be a Metamucil gummie?

Either way, absolutely, positively, gotta be "Money", from "Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd, followed immediately by "Great Gig in the Sky" and, preferably, on a pristine, well kept, clean copy of the original vinyl release (recorded at Abbey Road Studios).

After that, there's a lot I would spin (e.g.  Steely Dan; Donald Fagan; Jefferson Airplane; Ten Years After; Mountain; Hot Tuna; Jimi Hendrix; early Eagles; War; etc.).

And, Roxy54, yes, we are all still teenagers (or younger, as it were) when we're in the mood and our favorite tunes take us back to great times.

I had no idea there were so many fun lovers out there in audio heaven. I would add Country Joe McDonald's "Paradise with an Ocean View' to the list.

This is the only way to enjoy being an audiophile. Cannabis is a cheat code to fun critical listening.

@roxy54

No. Some of us had the luxury of not needing to grow up in order to be successful in life which allowed us to enjoy it as it should be enjoyed.

The Moody Blues "Legend of a Mind"! Timothy Leary's dead! No he's not! He's outside looking in! Clear Light blotter will do the trick!

Thirty minutes after munching on a gummie I will ask my buddy, 'you stoned? He responds, I dunno, wanna smoke a joint? Me, okay! So have no idea if gummies have any choice in wherher King Buffalo, or King Gizzard and the Wizard Lizards, get air play.

DSOTM of course.

Ten Years After: Let the Sky Fall, I'd Love to Save the World, Over the Hill

Jefferson Airplane: Crown of Creation, Lather

King Crimson: In The Court of The Crimson King

After several gummies:

The Golden Palominos: Pure, No Skin
