| Short? Do not know if your Mac is hooked up to the Niagara. I had the same issue on a secondary system with a Panamax e5100 surge protector. I disconnected the amp from the Panamax and the popping stopped. | |

| Why are there so many wooden box speakers out there? +1 @budjoe Olsen study used a miniscule 7/8" speaker. Mounting larger speakers would be more problematic and require proportionately much larger cabinets. Would be interesting to see some research on larger spherical speakers though. Happy H... | |
