What do you have on order RIGHT NOW.

I'm checking the tracking app a few times a day for where my MHDT Orchid DAC is up to between Taiwan and Australia.   And I have super tweeter diaphragms on the way for my IMF RSPM Mark IV's.
What have you got coming. From where to where. Share the excitement or heartache.
mid-fi-crisis
I just bought a Nordost Valhalla Digital cable. Should get it by the end of the week.

I’m a little late to the party, however I’ve had some new to me toys show up in the last 2 weeks.  First up was a pair of ELF interconnects. The Super Helix Gold. Great cables at ridiculous reasonable prices.  Next I picked up an Anticable level 3 power cable. Finally,I very recently received a lightly used First Watt J2. I already own a FW F5,so I had an idea of the great sound quality. I definitely was not disappointed.
Steve Wilson vinyl re-master of Jethro Tull - "Songs From the Wood", coming for the UK.
No longer waiting on the Mojo Audio Mystique EVO B4B 21 D/A Converter, which is sounding great on its second day in my system.  However, I couldn't help myself so I am now waiting on Mojo Audio's Deja Vu EVO Media Server/Streamer.  This one is pretty much ready to go so should be here in about a week.
Soon to don my manroom/office wall ... a framed "RUSH 1978/1979 Hemispheres" world tour poster/platinum album.
Won it at a local auction.

Very Nice! Enjoy.......

Finally received my Loki  after long wait..... Disapointed but expected a miraKle...........Sent it back. Had to try,
Happier flat out.🎶

I've been buck wild since inheriting all those LP's

1. Ordered a new pair of bookshelf speakers (fit shelf, no ports) Wharfedale Diamond 225

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Wharfedale-Diamond-225-New-in-sealed-box/303936441062

for updated garage system, however, I will first compare them to the B&W DM100i's in my office where they get help from a self-powered sub.
.........................................

2. for my very heavy speakers: ordered new wheels, soft rubber,

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PX91JYE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I move them, adjust toe-in for wider center when friend(s) are over, push back into corners when space needed ...

after reading this.

http://www.townshendaudio.com/hi-fi-home-cinema-equipment-vibration-isolation/hi-fi-home-cinema-equi...

Originally I used hard wheels, thinking, all that weight, on only 3 wheels, hard wheels, only the surface area touching the floor = more weight/less area, hard surface like a spike.

The whole theory above is soft isolation. I found real rubber, softest I could find, why not try?
.............................................

3. I ordered a vintage CD/SACD player for main 2 channel system, Oppo BDP-83 SE
Special Edition, upgraded for audio.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/OPPO-BDP-83-Used-With-Original-Box-and-Remote/384052707809

will compare to existing Sony carousel which surprisingly matched my prior Onkyo DX-7500. Loser goes to garage system to compare to Sony single player I just inherited.
.............................................

4. Melissa Etheridge's debut album, LP, used DMM

https://www.ebay.com/itm/MELISSA-ETHERIDGE-melissa-etheridge-ISLAND-12-LP-33-RPM/313399191450

I blasted that album with a room full of people the day before I married Donna 31 years ago!. Dave Letterman said at the time "everybody else should get out of the business".
................................................

5. Tube preamp is still in transit from Russia since March 1.

Elliot,

Thanks for the post. I just ordered the Melissa Etheridge S/T LP when I saw it in your post. Wow, the one you bought was a great price, especially if it grades-out and it's a first/early pressing. Mine was about 50% more expensive, listed as NM and also listed as a "first pressing". Still a good price, if it grades-out and is indeed a first pressing.

Enjoy!
I've got a Herron Audio Phono Stage and a Herron Audio Preamp on order, and UPS should be bringing them to me TODAY!!
larsman, You got just about the last VTPH2A that will ever be made. Keith told me last week he is down to parts for the last two. He won’t be ordering parts to build more, said the price increase would be "astronomical". You have to know how understated Keith is to get the full meaning of this. Anyway, helluva fine rig, you are gonna gape in wonder when you hear it. Yes right out of the box. Then it only gets better. So congratulations! Enjoy!
Oppo doesn't work,

unknown disc, no disc ... once it played a bit, very stuttering, what a shame. Seems like it is something in the mechanism, needs new belt, lube, lens cleaned, all of the above? I tried lens cleaning disc (tiny brushes), no change.
Every unit  is 10.000.00  bucks . Then  resale it for 2,500.00 . Put your money in the bank or a 403 b . Buy the Rega Brio,  800 buck speakers  nice CD your doing fine . Get the bottom  line well known cable company .
jafant ...

The Pioneer Elite DV-59AVi DVD player arrived today. It is in mint condition and looks pretty much unplayed. It works perfectly. At $114. it was a steal. I compared it to my modified Pioneer Elite DV-05. The modified one is better sounding, even though the machine isn’t up to the quality build of the new one. So, I’ll be sending the new one to the tech for his mods. I’ll keep you posted.

The Wharfedale Bookshelf speakers arrived in 3 days, love them, looks and sound.

Had to return the Oppo Blu-ray player (the audio Special Edition), the laser was no good, seems a common problem.
Denafrips Venus II DAC. Ordered March 09, from Singapore, Singapore shipped from Canton, China. Received March 16.2021 Wow, great DAC.
Awaiting delivery of: (1) a BAT VK-33 linestage ... Fed Ex tracking says it should be here on April 9; and (2) a 1 meter Audio Envy O’Nestian 4:3 XLR IC ordered yesterday.
Soekris 1421 DAC. Trying this to hear what it sounds like as I explore
options to replace my Theta ProBasic III. Ordered on Friday and they had it at the post office on Saturday. Should arrive this coming Tuesday.

Bought and just received a barely used OPPO BDP-105 blu-ray player, based on it’s highly regarded audio. (BDP-83 was returned).

Direct to my Tube amp, sounds terrific.

Tried long XLR cables, didn’t work out, if interested in failure:

elliot,

if it has the stock oem power supply, believe me, you haven’t heard it yet. Go to ebay. The person I bought my LPM (Linear Power Module) from had very detailed pics that helped me buy it. Pretty simple, but time consuming. Also get the Rhodium IEC with pure silver tail that attaches to the old or new Linear Power Supply AND the jumper to bypass the 110/220 switch

The sonic improvement is instantaneous and HUGE
Steve Wilson vinyl re-master of Jethro Tull - "Songs From the Wood", coming for the UK

I have the original LP (Crystalis).  Yup, it needs remastering.
Toolshed DHT preamp, to go with my Toolshed Transcendence 300B amp. Absolute beautiful pieces of eqiupment.
My copy of the Steve Wilson vinyl re-master of Jethro Tull - "Songs From the Wood" finally arrive from the UK yesterday. Will be on the TT tonight.
Computer Audio Design GC3
Big brother to the GC1 which was a major improvement to digital in my system
Greek grill for two, with a side of pita bread. Uber Eats. Should be here any minute. I figured if we are going to make silly posts, then silly answers should be allowed.
Nothing.  This hobby is weird.  It is very easy to look at the next purchase, another mod, update, different cables, etc. and forget that what you already own is excellent.   The next product, next upgrade, etc. are always interesting but what I have now sounds terrific.

It feels great to just enjoy what I already own.
A new Showtime Rotisserie oven, "Set and Forget"  its our fourth one.  Waiting on Home Depot to deliver.
This is a fun thread! And full of anticipation I’m sure lol I know it is for me!
I bought a pair of Monitor Audio G5 Gold 300’s and a pair of Analysis Plus Solo Crystal Plus Oval 8’s Bi-Wired/shotgunned. Both were ordered a week ago.
Speakers were shipped freight from Canada so hopefully here this week but I wasn’t given a tracking #.
Cables were a custom order but were supposed to be here this week too, coming from Michigan.
Fingers crossed that both get here soon!
I’m waiting on a Symposium Acoustics Foundation Ultra rack, probably another four weeks until it is shipped, by freight, so perhaps another four weeks to reach me just north of Chicago. It’s good that I can be patient about this.
Waiting on a DeWalt chainsaw and 2 six amp batteries.  Tried getting it from Home Depot. It said they had six in stock but no one could find them.  Ordered off Amazon at a cheaper price and it is due to arrive on Monday.
Audioquest gear:
Niagara 5000 (Kinda feel like I should have gone all in on the 7000 for the dbs on the source outlets and the extra heft...)

Hurricane high current 20amp (Upgrading from a Furman IT Reference 15 to the Niagara 5000, so need a 20amp cable. Will move the 15amp Hurricane to my Oppo.)

FireBird Zero for center channel (Also feel like I should have gone all in on a Dragon, but the idea here is if the FireBird makes me see the universe, I'll move this to the left channel, order a longer cable for the right channel, and a Dragon for the center.)

4 DBS Type X upgrade kits (The Carbon DBS have been re-classified and Type X, I'm assuming named after the Patlabor prototype, lol. To replace/upgrade some of the older style "soft touch material that turns into degraded Moss Man from the old MOTU line" DBS's on some of my existing cables.)

Set of 500 series bananas to replace the spades on a set of GO-4s that will replace the existing Type 4s on my rear channels.
Waiting on, don’t laugh now, sprayable grass seed in green mousse. I got sucked in to the many advertisements on Facebook on this. I found a site that was offering 6 vials of the green mousse and the sprayer for $65.99. Other places were selling the same for $105.00. So, after I pay for the order I find out it’s coming from China!  Ordered last Wednesday, shipped yesterday. By the time I receive it, the grass growing season will be over, all i’ll get is crabgrass
Two Rythmik F12G SE. Please don't tell my wife, she thinks I ordered two mini dorm refrigerators.
Scheduled for delivery tomorrow… Music Fidelity Nu-vista 600 and a Cary DMS 550.
I am excited, among the first changes in my system since 2005.
Put some Spendor D9’s in the room last week.
