What do you have on order RIGHT NOW.

I'm checking the tracking app a few times a day for where my MHDT Orchid DAC is up to between Taiwan and Australia.   And I have super tweeter diaphragms on the way for my IMF RSPM Mark IV's.
What have you got coming. From where to where. Share the excitement or heartache.

I tried my best with the Oppo BDP-105, but, nice as it is, I could neither hear or see superiority, so I am selling it. I feel I wasted a lot of time and money on it. Gave me more confidence with my existing Sony pieces it couldn't beat: music player and video player.

I’ll be interested to hear your experiences with Raven.

You know their internal crossover to go out to self powered subs intrigues me, will you be using that feature?

I know you have real swarm type multiple subs, so it may not be part of your plans.
Schiit Freya Plus and Straightwire USB and 4 JJ vacuum tubes and Bifrost 2. They have shipped and will be here on Friday July 30. After a long wait......
Nice !!!   What model?   Anyone who wants to check out some beautiful amps and preamps should check out Matt's  Toolshed Audio Instagram and Facebook pages ....   works of art.
@oddiofyl my buddy has a custom Toolshed amp running Cornwalls, great sound for his flyrod building workshop…er man cave, whatever….
Just received my new Soundsmith MIMC Star yesterday. Quite pleased thus far, and seems a nice match with my Hagerman Trumpet MC.

Now the Zephyr MKIII is a back-up.
I would be like a kid on Christmas Eve. Will you be able to sleep tonight?

Like a baby: squirm and fuss, pass out, sort of half wake up during the diaper change....

@elliottbnewcombjr  AHA! that was made in jest. I said,

Doing an 11.1 home theater setup with some MBL speakers. Guy on Craigslist will drop off between 9-11 am tomorrow.

The notion of an 11.1 home theater system with MBL speakers was the joke and the "guy on craigslist" was the topper.

Joke didn't land. My bad!
are there two hilde45?

@elliottbnewcombjr  I wasn't getting an 11.1 HT system! I think you've confused me with someone else.

I couldn't find my LP copy of Joni Mitchell's Blue, so bought a new sealed one on discogs. 50 years old, still awesome.
I was asked to be a Beta tester for the new LTA Ultralinear amp. It is in transit now and I have the weekend after this cleared to A-B with the latest original version. Should be fun!
well, I might, if it proves too much for an old mind, preconditioned by amps with hints

my McIntosh 2250 meant 2 x 250
Tandberg 2080 meant 2 x 80
Carver 400t meant 2 x 200 (was t for total?)

I’ll admit, Fisher 80z mono amps, or 500c receiver, or 800c receiver, huh?

Cayin A88T ?
mx110z, what the bejesus kind of # is that? the only reason I remember it is because it sounds so good I dream about it.
sorry, the Luxman SQ-N150 is only 10 wpc. what the hell kind of model number is that anyway?
I forgot to say, I got some stuff, new to me:

1. Received the Nearly New Luxman Tube SQ-N150 Integrated for my Office. It’s terrific. I ass-umed it had pre-out/main in, but nope. Happily it drives my little true bookshelf Wharfedale Diamond 225’s with enough volume. My lowest powered amp ever 15 wpc, with my least efficient speakers ever 87.

2. I replaced a single 12" self powered sub in the office (my ancient Velodyne Servo 1200 died). Rockville, was $165. costs a bit more now

https://www.rockvilleaudio.com/rock-shaker-12-wood/

single, mono, facing sideways in front of the bookcases, just adds enough low end that nothing seems lacking, i.e. the office system doesn’t sound small.. Unaware unless you turn it off.

3. My Vintage Tandberg 2080 SS receiver died, so I bought a very low priced 2 channel receiver to play either or both pairs of speakers in my Garage/Shop system, with remote volume. Insignia Receiver NS-R2001 (Best Buy’s brand), playing all legacy stuff thru it: 8 track, dual cassette; compact programmable Technics SL-J33 TT; it’s tuner for my one FM Jazz station, and CD player. Sound quality just fine to play over saw/drill/sand/curse noises.

4. got my McIntosh mx110z Tube Tuner/Preamp back from Audio Classics. I sleep better knowing it has new gold plated RCA jacks throughout (the old ones corrode). They were a problem, inadvertently causing balance issues by themselves. Other repairs, lights are brighter, I suppose I can kid myself that I can hear the difference of the resistors they replaced because a few of the original ones were good but ’out of specs’. It sounded great, still sounds great!

New speaker cables at the same time, new L-Pads in the speakers, new interconnects with locking connectors, too many changes to pin-point, but definitely the best sound ever.

5. Oh yeah, added a power gizmo, Furman P-1800 PF R to the main system

6. I am using my friends NOS Goldring Eroica LX Cartridge in my TT’s rear arm (removable headshell). He found it in a drawer, a few years old, never used. It sounds very good. Just happens one of the 4 optional loads in my FRT-4 SUT is very well mated to it.

Symposium Svelte shelf speaker set...

Symposium Svelte Plus shelves and footers have made an enormous  difference in my system.

Expecting my Eddie Current Studio 8 headphone amp this week; just ordered a Holo May DAC and a Roon Nucleus streamer....
Blue Nile, Walk Across the Rooftops, LP, just arrived from Germany yesterday

https://www.discogs.com/sell/list?master_id=35779&ev=mb&format=Vinyl&sort=condition%2Cde...

Linn's First LP LKH-1, designed to help prove how darn good LP's could be made and their LP12 could play them.

Great voice, band, music.

I pre-ordered if from a coupon way back then, it's downstairs somewhere, but I can't find it.

The CD is awesome sounding if not into Vinyl.
I ordered my Russian preamp 2-12-21. Patience, it arrived in 2-1/2 months 4-23-21. Defective, intolerable noise, tried everything, gave up, returned it, got full refund,

Wednesday (yesterday) Ordered a Luxman SQ-N150 Integrated Tube Amp, MM/MC, remote volume. It will be here tomorrow, yes, 2 days from Illinois. (FedEx Home).

Because I gave my McIntosh mx110z Tube Tuner/Preamp to Audio Classics, I lost Phono in my main system, soooo I'll use this little 10 wpc in the main system until the mx110z gets home in a week or two. Then, Luxman moves up here in my office system.

The mx110z is getting new gold plated rca jacks and a general checkup, it is all original.  I also ordered an interconnect from Audio Classics. I just realized, an mx110z is on order!
And the biggest upgrade I made was last week when I had dedicated lines run to my equipment. 1 for each amp and 1 for the digital. Huge improvement.
I am a passive pre-amp guy. I recently purchased a Luminous Audio Technology Axiom II w/ Walker Mods. I am modifying it up on them though. I have requested vintage western electric wire with Allen-Bradley resistors. I have a regular Axiom II with Caddock resistors and an extra output for 2 amps. I found passive is better than active. It is what works for me. I sold all active pre-amps within 3 weeks after going passive. One pre-amp I said would never go out the door.... Don't have it anymore. I don't always use 2 amps. The new pre-amp is, I hope, a good match for my old VTL300 Deluxe tube mono blocks. $$ are watched when buying....really watched. No real bargain....no real buy. I started this hobby 47 years ago and it has grown over time as I have. I have received a few digital cables lately to try out and hope it is for the better improvement. I sent back a DAC with a digital pre-amp....total crap. Old AA DDE and DTI blew it out of the water as soon as I changed back. It was not a cheap DAC. I was always a little skeptical of cable but have made major (to me) improvements lately that are significantly noticeable. Used is good if it was well taken care of usually. The VTLs feed my Maggie 3.7s. AND, I am quite happy. Drastic change does not have to cost you a mortgage. Going on my 3rd Axiom...must say something. I may be 67 but my ears are only 35. ;)
Schiit Bifrost 2 and Vali 2, both are backordered.

Morrow Audio speaker cables and one set of interconnects. Should be here Monday.
Acoustic Zen Absolute 75 Ohm digital cable... expecting it to arrive Monday.

2 NOS 1960’s Brimar 12au7’s arriving tomorrow for use in the Hagerman Trumpet. Arriving tomorrow.
Scheduled for delivery tomorrow… Music Fidelity Nu-vista 600 and a Cary DMS 550.
I am excited, among the first changes in my system since 2005.
Put some Spendor D9’s in the room last week.
Two Rythmik F12G SE. Please don't tell my wife, she thinks I ordered two mini dorm refrigerators.
Waiting on, don’t laugh now, sprayable grass seed in green mousse. I got sucked in to the many advertisements on Facebook on this. I found a site that was offering 6 vials of the green mousse and the sprayer for $65.99. Other places were selling the same for $105.00. So, after I pay for the order I find out it’s coming from China!  Ordered last Wednesday, shipped yesterday. By the time I receive it, the grass growing season will be over, all i’ll get is crabgrass
Audioquest gear:
Niagara 5000 (Kinda feel like I should have gone all in on the 7000 for the dbs on the source outlets and the extra heft...)

Hurricane high current 20amp (Upgrading from a Furman IT Reference 15 to the Niagara 5000, so need a 20amp cable. Will move the 15amp Hurricane to my Oppo.)

FireBird Zero for center channel (Also feel like I should have gone all in on a Dragon, but the idea here is if the FireBird makes me see the universe, I'll move this to the left channel, order a longer cable for the right channel, and a Dragon for the center.)

4 DBS Type X upgrade kits (The Carbon DBS have been re-classified and Type X, I'm assuming named after the Patlabor prototype, lol. To replace/upgrade some of the older style "soft touch material that turns into degraded Moss Man from the old MOTU line" DBS's on some of my existing cables.)

Set of 500 series bananas to replace the spades on a set of GO-4s that will replace the existing Type 4s on my rear channels.
Waiting on a DeWalt chainsaw and 2 six amp batteries.  Tried getting it from Home Depot. It said they had six in stock but no one could find them.  Ordered off Amazon at a cheaper price and it is due to arrive on Monday.
I’m waiting on a Symposium Acoustics Foundation Ultra rack, probably another four weeks until it is shipped, by freight, so perhaps another four weeks to reach me just north of Chicago. It’s good that I can be patient about this.
