Two Sides to Every Story by Tiger Okoshi. It's an Alan Yoshida master and recorded using the XRCD process meaning it sounds amazing.
Whats playing on your system today?

I started with Modern Jazz Quartet, and wandered into something very interesting! The name of the album is Ten Steps, by Dan Whitehouse & Max ZT. Please try it and let me know what you think. It's a relaxing ethereal journey that was completely unique. You will hear the hammered dulcimer of Max ZT, which was described as the Jimmi Hendricks of dulcimer players. Next I found Max ZT with Ivy League Hillbillies. Interesting name and even more interesting music!!! |
A great recording Mnike |
I am listening to the most marvelous music, I really don’t want it to stop. Ever! I’ve just discovered it. The artist is Bart van Oort and he plays the fortepiano. It is what pianos were in Chopin’s day and they don’t necessarily sound completely familiar, but van Oort is a magician the way he makes these pianos sing. I am listening to one of his singles called “French Nocturnes. I’d like to upload a photo here from my iPad Photo Library but apparently that’s not possible. :( The first track is beyond beautiful. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/PSgg9bZex-E?si=qi6lnCqRzy5f8_6Q The other one of van Oort’s recordings that I’ve been playing is also wonderful! It is a multi disc album “Chopin and his Contemporaries” and it is equally beautiful.
