Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Kacey Musgraves album Deeper Well.  It's labeled as Country, but I don't think it is.

Very nice sounding album. You need to give it a listen.

Sarah Jarosz - Polaroid Lovers.  If you like Kacey Musgraves, check her out.

Ellie Gowers - You, the Passenger.  Just discovered her tonight.  It's really good.

Nightwish - Decades.  It's classified as metal.  I don't like most metal, but this stuff is pretty cool.

Van Halen - Balance (2023 remaster).  First time listening to it.  I like it.

@cincyjim Some time around 1979, I went to a KISS concert in Omaha.  Back when they were huge.  I had never heard of the guy that played before KISS.  John Cougar Mellencamp.... I thought, "damn, he's pretty good".

Currently listening to Decades by Nightwish. It's different, but I like it. A blend of Orchestra and metal...

Within Temptation - Resist.

I've found myself kinda bored with my normal audiophile stuff.  I've been listening to some hard rock and metal.  It's good stuff, though.

Envy of None - Stygian Wavz.   Features Alex Lifeson of Rush, but it's not hard rock like Rush.  Very chill...

Envy of None.  Two albums and an EP.  All three are awesome. It's not hard rock, but the lead guitarist is Alex Lifeson. Female vocalist.

Nightwish - Highest Hopes - The Best of Nightwish.

They do a cool version of Walking in the Air..

Nemo is another really cool song.

It's rock, but different.
