Do you guys generally find you like the sound of cassettes better than cd's, or just a different sound and change of pace?
@stereo5,
May I ask if you are up Rhode Island way?
glupson, Don’t forget, geoff’s so old that when he was a kid he didn’t have a paper route, he had a papyrus route!
Thank you, I’ll be here, still in the house, all week....
Well, I hope they edited out that 'end is near', 'final curtain' business. Interesting tidbit about the song. It was originally a French song, 'Comme D'Habitude', and according to a 2005 funeral home survey, the most requested song.
glupson, actually watching an old PBS documentary on the 1918 influenza pandemic featuring those who went through it and of course survived. Quite sobering and more than a little frightening... |
A brief respite, my butterflies. Please find a way for yourself to do the same...

Hey uber! When all this virus business begins to subside and it's safer to venture into germ factories like Wal-Mart, the Middleburg one still sells CD's if you are interested....
uber. I'm well, thanks. Up in New England. Yes the Middleburg branch started selling them as well. Stay safe and don't get complacent. This stuff is far from over...
Seven Year Itch.....Collective Soul. |
Wait a week and the amoebas will all starve to death.

Connecticut (currently where I am) and the rest of New England are kicking this thing in the keester, and that’s with 95% of businesses open. No matter where I go, everyone is wearing a mask, and all businesses have a sign stating it’s mandatory or stay out. They also implemented a two week quarantine rule if you are coming from a state with a high infection rate which is pretty much the entire South. I shall leave it up to the individual as to why this is so.
uber, Wife went to Publix the other day, told me maybe a quarter were wearing masks. She of course was. It's up to these businesses to make it mandatory to wear a mask to enter. It's the only way to save these morons from themselves. |
Good to hear...
You can drink the pool water, just don't 💉 it!
Starting to worry about everybody's favorite poster, geoff. Not a peep from him for close to two weeks now. Hope that rascal is ok.
