Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

The Dead in 77 were at the top of their game.  I Have a few 77 concerts including the legendary Cornell 5/8/77 show.  Long live the Dead!

Into day 2 of a bunch of Grateful Dead concert recordings. They played some really good shows in 1977.

Two Sides to Every Story by Tiger Okoshi. It's an Alan Yoshida master and recorded using the XRCD process meaning it sounds amazing.

Carly Simon-Film Noir(CD 1997) A 1990's favorite of my wife and myself kicks off Sunday night vinyl.

Allman Brothers Band - Fillmore East Concerts.  In Memory of Elizabeth Reed is my favorite.  Named after a headstone in the cemetery they used to hang out in.

Steve Tyrell-Back To Bacharach(CD 2008) Another example of a great interpretation of Mr. Bacharach's songs jumpstarts a Thanksgiving vinyl night.

Third Round by Manu Katche

Just read about the latest Book set that’s coming out December 6 and went back to listen to a classic.  It’s the season after watching the snow at the Browns-Steelers game.

Two Guys and Stanley Kubrick Walk into a Jazz Club - Rock Candy Funk Party. Joe Bonamassa and friends having a good time cutting loose.

ln the Grooove - from the same album - The Groove Cubed. Yes those are the correct number of O’s.

Nightwish - Decades.  It's classified as metal.  I don't like most metal, but this stuff is pretty cool.

Thanks for the Brian Bromberg recommendation.  Didn’t know about his album playing Hendrix.  Also checking out ZZ Hill.
