I ordered the Vanilla Fudge box set after seeing Phil Aston’s review.  Glad to see others are enjoying it too.  It’s coming from Australia so it’s taking a while.  Looking forward to playing all 9 CDs so it will be playing on my system as soon as possible. 

Queen - from the 1st self-titled album to the end.  

Jethro Tull - Christmas album.  
 

Just read about the latest Book set that’s coming out December 6 and went back to listen to a classic.  It’s the season after watching the snow at the Browns-Steelers game.

Mitch2  post inspired me to listen to the Skynyrd playlist on Qobuz.  I like the original lineup’s stuff up until 77.  Before the day the music died.  RIP. 

New Styx and new Joe Bonamassa just released today 

The Who - Live at the Oval 1971.  It was just released today.  Great to hear the Who in their prime.  

Led Zeppelin II - just setup a pair of Sonos Move 2 on the wall in stereo and it’s a great test to hear the sound bounce back and forth across the soundstage.  Plus it’s an awesome album.  

Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath and Paranoid and Volume 4.  RIP Ozzy 

Tedeschi Trucks Band and Gov’t Mule.  Getting pumped for the show in 10 days. 

Talking Heads - More Songs About Buildings and Food.  Another great reissue with a concert from 78. 

Alice Cooper - The Revenge of Alice Cooper.  They got the old band back together more or less 51 years later. 

Some Who to end the week and kickoff the weekend.  Live at Leeds is a great way to blow off some steam.  The My Generation medley and Magic Bus rock.  

Dire Straits all day long.  Brothers in Arms is playing whenever I setup new equipment.  Steve Wilson Tull and Yes remixes are excellent.  

The Who - Quadrophenia.  While watching Thursday night football.  

Thanks for the Brian Bromberg recommendation.  Didn’t know about his album playing Hendrix.  Also checking out ZZ Hill.  

Great stuff.  Love Bob Marley’s live performances.  RIP.

Allman Brothers Band - Fillmore East Concerts.  In Memory of Elizabeth Reed is my favorite.  Named after a headstone in the cemetery they used to hang out in. 

The Dead in 77 were at the top of their game.  I Have a few 77 concerts including the legendary Cornell 5/8/77 show.  Long live the Dead!  

Phil Collins - Face Value and Hello I Must Be Going.  His first 2 solo albums.  Sounds as good as when I played them over 40 years ago.  

Led Zeppelin - Dazed and Confused - Live - the Song Remains the Same 

The Who - Quadrophenia.  Deluxe set.  

Talking Heads are excellent.  I’ve been listening to the reissue of Talking Heads 77.  Great stuff.

Jen Chapin - Light of Mine album.  Daughter of Harry Chapin.  Check out You Haven’t Done Nothing and Into the Mystic.  Great stuff.

Little Feat - Waiting for Columbus.  The 8 CD set.  A great boogie woogie band in their prime.  

Blow by Blow - Jeff Beck 

Animals - Pink Floyd. The 2018 remixed and remastered version sounds better than all of their other albums now IMO. Wish You Were Here is my favorite so I’m hoping the 50th anniversary version is as good.

Love the Jeff Beck, Bogart and Appice live album box set.

Listening to the Moody Blues for the 1st time in a while.  I see John Lodge is touring.  I’m Just a Singer in a Rock and Roll band rocks for the Moodies.
