1 song you never get sick of?

Name 1 song no matter how many times you heard it, or how much others are sick of it, you still love it!

There are a lot for me, but if I had to pick one, it would be

Lobo: me, you, and a dog named Boo.

there are tons, but this song, every time I hear it, the world stops, and I must sing along.

@hifiguy42  Thanks for checking in re: "Tighten Up."  Doesn't matter how many years go by - it's always cool to know someone shares the joy of a great piece of music.  Btw, good reminder to go back and read the whole thread!

@keegiam I know it's been years since you posted your response, but on my way home from work last night I listened to "Tighten Up" about ten times in a row. Everything about this song is fantastic. I especially love the little laugh at the beginning, even the singer can't contain his joy.

Excellent picks @roxy54 to which I would add expecting to fly by buffalo Springfield and calling over time by Edith frost

@irjones I thought I was the only one who loves that song!  However,  I would have to say Dreams.  Close second would be Dance the Night Away, Then She Did or Three Days.

...Stairway To Heaven

I don't remember getting sick of that song, but would definitely lift up the needle. It became way too obnoxious

Since you made it clear only one song I will play by the rules!

Stairway To Heaven-Led Zeppelin

Yeah, I know the OP said 1 song, but there are way too many for me.

I never get tired of "The Boys Are Back In Town" by Thin Lizzy.

same goes for "bright size life" from the album of the same name by Pat Metheny.

The Beatles - Day Tripper (this song alone took the Fab 4 to the next level)

Happy Listening!

A Song for You

Leon Russell

That piano intro just grabs me and the lyrics are like a mantra.

Most of songs without lyrics. Khruangbin band is one of those examples. Tigran Hamasyan or Yegor Zabelov are another champions on that genre. That is to say that songs WITH lyrics even if they are super great, I can eventually get sick from those. I already cannot stand neither Stairway to Heaven or even Shine on Your Crazy Diamond!

I’d really be happy to hear "Haitian Divorce" of Steely Dan from time to time -- I don’t think it was more frequently heard than two above mentioned. Would never disagree that all songs listed are indeed great.

In case any of you didn’t understand my previous post, it’s The sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel.

Hello darkness my old friend……

I must have a dozen versions, covers, etc. The intro still give me goosebumps after 50 years

@keegiam   Mr. Wonder hits my ears once a day, min.
a personal fav with Jackson Browne.

Very Best Years - The Grays by Jason Falkner.

Also I get chills everytime I hear Sail On - NRBQ by Joey Spaminato.

The only Crazy I like is written and recorded by ARS.

"Crazy times make a crazy man"
Happy Birthday! .....means I get one more year to enjoy all my favorite music.😃🎶
