I got to get me some of this tiny vinyl. There are hundreds of patents, that play both sides of the vinyl LP. But you don't want it. Suffer in ignorance. Wake up.
CD's or Vinyl? I would not dream of going back to vinyl. It is not an easy choice. But I have hundreds of CD's. Over the years most of my L.P.s have been stolen from me. SACD's are simply the best. P.S. I have got even with some.
How old is too old? I was unaware of the caffiene syndrome. At 68 years young, it's serious. I have owned the Marantz SA 10 sacd player for 6 months. And I really believe it is the best sound I have ever heard. But I will not recommend it as (1, I am not qualified. ...

SACD v Streaming I too have the MARANTZ SA-10. I look forward to hearing something better. The LAMB.l.d.o.BROADWAY Is retailing at £270. I am importing discs from Japan. The costs are just ridiculous. They cost the same to manufacture as a CD, and usually come in ...
Anyone else constantly curious about amps? PS Thanks for the electric guitar.
Anyone else constantly curious about amps? Oh no, don't start politics in this stream. America was great when all the other countries had thier factories bombed to oblivion. You americans acually profited from WW2. Without paying for any patents for our inventions, like the jet engine, rad...
Anyone else constantly curious about amps? If I can afford it, I don't really want it. It's not logical, but I like to take time to ponder the pro's and cons. I only recently discovered SHARK (buy reading this sites comments). I planned to upgrade my current amp, a Yamaha AS 701, (somethin...
Need to learn about Audio Research I really enjoyed this dialogue. I too (soon), will be looking out for a tube pre-amp. It's all good information. THANKS. IAN.
Some people actively participate but rarely if ever start a thread. P.S. I do not have a TT, and I never will. What a waste of money. That is how I feel. You see, I did not have a relitavely comfortable lifestyle, where I could accumalate all my property from birth to death. Some of us wandered and lost the thing...
Some people actively participate but rarely if ever start a thread. I too am over the hill. I have been reading this site for less than 2 years. So do not know how splendid it all was. The low end market is not to be avoided. This is how we got to entry level in the first place. To encourage young and money-less f...
The Real Reason Why Music Is Getting Worse!! In the past, A real talent may appear in a town, near you! He/She may cut a record and really make it big. Some may make a living. Today, a real talent may appear in a room near you! He/She may cut a record after school and not make big at all. O...
Japanese Voltage. O.K. I ended up, purchasing an Airlink transformer, even though I don't yet need it. It is the JACBS 1000, At the fair price of £400, delivered. Now, as it has two outputs, I started looking at a pair of mono blocks! As I have time to accumalate...
Japanese Voltage. Thank you gentlemen, No-one posted a down side. So I concur with you, it's a reasonable motion. But I'm afraid the deal will have to wait until this time next year. as I decided to buy an SACD. And now it's final. Indecisive, IAN.
Japanese Voltage. I found it, the transformer is 50/60 Hz.But cannot find Luxman's frequency. |
