Has anyone tried these stunning new CPT power cord?

Considering the many, many brands of power cords I've tried in my very well accomplished high-end system, I have never been so impacted by these Core Power Technology power cords. Within a very short period(15-20) minutes my system literally came alive. Soundstage opened wider and deeper. The background became dead silent, space between instruments and stage members were more focused and everything sounded cleaner and musical than ever. My highs had a glorious crispness and symbols shimmered. Midrange through my 2" horn became more dynamic and punchy. My 15" bass driver tightened and dug low with great control. My Rel G1 which is a fabulous sub on its own but with a CPT 150 on it is another story. Running high pass from my sub to my Audiozen Noah amplifier, music depth is just stunning. Lower end bass is authoritative and clean with solid grip and impact.
My experience with these power cords is truly magical. The scary part of the above is I only have one 150 on my sub and one 300 from my wall to my 6 outlet bar. I still need 3 more to complete my system. I could just imagine the level after that...In closing, I cannot emphasize enough to try one of these in your system. I CANNOT and WIIL NOT take these out as they are that good. But hold your jaw, cuz what you've been listening to will just become real after Core Power Technologies.

Cheers....and let the tapping begin.......

Ah, finally!
Though after waiting this long, I won't be holding my breath.
Hopefully, all of us will get our stuff.

Good Afternoon - Happy Thanksgiving All...

I’m very pleased to report that the company has been sold and in the next 48 hours there will be a Press Release that will be seen here as well as other Media Outlets that deal with Audio in general.

This process has taken far too long and of course I would like to apologize to all of you. This should have been long ago finished, refunds sent and those waiting gear happily receiving their promised goods. The 3rd time was a charm - and the choice CPT made here is really beyond spectacular for all concerned.

There were many reasons why this took so long. I don’t want to bore anyone with the details (which there are many)... but rest assured now that this is done we can focus on taking care of our responsibilities to all of you. In fact we have asked back our review samples and we have already received 4 units. These will be properly tested and brough to A Stock Status. We have a current list of owed units and these will begin to ship right away.

For those that want the “long version” I would be happy to send along a Word Doc that outlines the details. This will be available to any of that wish it AFTER Thanksgiving. The best way to reach me continues to be corepowertech@outlook.com - or by phone 303.594.7586.

The new owners are committed individuals and corporately represent the best this industry has to offer. Good People with a Great Brand. I’m sure all of you that own CPT products or those that are considering future purchases of Equi-Core, Deep-Core, or Ground Zero will love the new owners and what the stand for and represent.

I’m terribly terribly sorry this has gone on for such a long time. We did wait for the BEST DEAL that served EVERYONE (for reasons my longer statement will reveal)... and this is finally IT.

I wish everyone a happy and peace-filled Thanksgiving.

Thank you all...

Mark and Lynn Schifter

As I stated in my post in this thread dated 11/16, my EE found the topic a lot more involved than he originally thought. Here are some suggestions which will require additional research on your part. That's probably why it might be easier to purchase a unit that is already completed.

Yes, after the new (used) Focal’s sat in the cold for about a week due to trucking screw ups. I slipped the truck driver some holiday cash and he helped this old man get them down the steps. They weigh about 125 lbs each.

The Focal Sopra 2’s speakers at first listen sound really good with surprising good bass. I almost don’t need my subwoofers. I am also quite surprised at the dynamics and sensitivity of these speakers. I now have the volume on my preamp set at half the amount that the Carver ALS speakers required for the same sound level. I am still using the Carvers Raven 350 mono block amps.

I also purchased the IsoAcoutics GAIA 1 footers/carpet spikes.

I saw the isolation devise mentioned above on eBay a week ago, the comparison will be interesting. I;m still waiting for an email from my EE friend regarding his suggestions for the purchase of a plain isolation transformer to be used for a DIY unit.
The 600 volt Keces weighs just short of 16 pounds so it is in the ballpark for 500 volts.
I don’t really have great hopes for it but it’s worth a try. Anyone know what the 500 watt CPT weighs? Might give a clue as to weather this Chinese unit has a chance of being any good. They do have a 2000 watt unit for a bit over $400. I’ll have to check its weight......not that weight alone will determine if they are any good. Edit, it weighs 44 lbs.

Equi=techs Son of Q is a product I’m seriously looking at ordering.
Curious to see what you guys think of this one, especially since it weighs in at only about 14 lbs. My 1800 is somewhere around 55 lbs I believe.
Thanks madavid0, I just ordered one. It will be interesting hearing how it works out. If I remember correctly the chassis does look like the CPT's.
madavid0 thats great, i get the same impression and am still in the market.  Lak/Ozzy: i'll buy one and have it sent to you if you would be interested in demoing one and comparing to an Equicore?
Haha. This thread made me think a balanced isolation transformer is the ticket to audio nirvana. So I bought one:

Less than $200 after shipping. Lol I bet these are all Chinese units with a CPT logo.
My EE looked very closely inside of my Deep Core and 1800. I'll contact him over the weekend for recommendations on a transformer to build a balanced 1200 or 1800 etc.
IMO the challenge would be to find an appropriate case to house it all in. I believe Mark had the cases custom built by one of his contractors.
Ozzy - I would be interested as well, Modwright may know where the transformers come from, i'd help research if you can post a couple good pics of the guts of an 1800 to your homepage?

I would like to know that also and build my own. I wonder if grannyring had any information on that.
I was going to get a 1200 from Mark about a year and a half ago. Before the bad news started appearing here, I called him we talked. He seemed like a nice man. But his way of doing things made me quite apprehensive to get a unit from him.
All that needs to be found is the source for the transformer that is used inside the 1800. The rest of the CPT box is just daisy chain wiring to inexpensive outs and inlet.
I'm still searchin'.

No the removed post was mine, I copied and pasted a supposed facebook post that had been attached to Mark's email asking for review units to be returned. Apparently an admin thought it was inappropriate so they deleted it. But the post was mainly his words, not mine, so I'm not sure why.

We don’t speak his name here. No Name has not posted here since Labor Day.
Post removed
At least that suggests (though doesn't prove) he's still in the country.  Mobilize now, while you still can!
I have it on good authority that Mark has sent out two emails over the past few weeks, attempting to "call back" all review units that are on long term loan to various industry people. I guess there are at least a handful out there to make it worth the hassle. The first email was sent 3 weeks ago and the follow up sent the other day, probably because nobody bothered to answer him.

I've seen copies of both emails and they are very Schiftery. He mentions how badly he wants to make good his promises etc by calling these units back. Not sure if he intends to sell them or try to pass them off as new to customers waiting for gear. But don't worry, "I will replace it when the new guys get up and running". No joke, he is promising to somehow replace free long-term review loaners after the sale of his company goes through.

The industry person who showed me these emails is rather enjoying the irony of Mark having to wait for something that rightfully belongs to him to be sent out.
I posted a thread regarding contact info for the Colorado State Attorney General’s Office of consumer protection.
There will be no resolution.
No one will ever get their money back.
Ever.

In the beginning of this madness, the refund was expected.
Then it turned into wishful thinking.
Now it's purely fantasy.

I know  it's a tough pill to swallow, but it is what it is.
Don't give up, and keep pushing @amg56. I hope you and others get a resolution.

@rangers You did an amazing job reading right through this thread. There are 2 others which relate to the same identity and are longer, but have been pulled. Unfortunately, there is always someone who will betray the trust of honest people.

I too hope for an appropriate outcome.

Out of sheer randomness I stumbled onto this thread and have read it from the first page. And the one thing that I can only think of is that this is a story that could be told on CNBC’s American Greed program. Wow.

Wouldn’t the FBI, maybe the local Colorado office, be interested in hearing, learning, and then opening a case on a serial con artist like this guy?
Looks like I am out of luck, regarding my Deep Cores and cables.
It really makes trusting people very difficult these days.

Kemper Holt Wins Essence / XPC Summer Sweepstakes

We are so pleased to announce that well-known audiophile Kemper Holt has been selected as the winner of the Essence / XPC Summer 2018 Sweepstakes! He’s won the XPC P80AV-1100, a robust power conditioning AC Line Noise Filter / Voltage Regulator with Battery Back-up to protect his equipment during utility power failures, a retail value of $819. XPC is well known for its complete line of award winning power management products.

Good on you Kemper. (I did enter from Australia but knew I was out of the race anyway)

Maybe the administrators finally banned posts from CPT (Mark). That would explain the absence of posts.
It appears to me from following this very sad thread that possibly numerous complaints have been filed with appropriate authorities.

I just don't understand why M.S. hasn't been arrested yet for this continuous conduct.

@amg56

"Hopefully we might hear something from Mark soon."

I won't call you Shirley, however, you can't be serious!

  LP
Who isn’t ill in that clan? Frankly, I hope we never hear from them again.

I have heard that to, and has a new email address as well. Last communique is that SIL Paul has been ill. If so I wish him well. I understand he has a long road to walk. I don't wish that ill on anyone.

Hopefully we might hear something from Mark soon.
