Frequently asking to re-login

Lately I've had to re-login every few days , have you experienced this ?

I noticed Audiogon implemented the Cloudflare security system a week or two ago. That is probably the cause. Hopefully how often you log on will decrease over time.

yes, every other day or so and every 5 days I need a 2-factor identification.  Doesn't Audiogon realize that everyone doesn't use their smart phone to visit.  I personally use my desktop computer, and the reason is the 32-inch screen.  At least I can read it, my iPhone screen, not so much.  I can't get a 2 factor ID on my desktop as there is no SMS text app.

I've been dealing with this very issue daily for the last week. The 2FA bit is a real bummer for me cuz I don't have a cell phone and, thusly, cannot receive texts. Anyway, I'm hoping that it's all finally straightened our as of today. As usual, Tammy was very responsive in her attempts to rectify the issue.

I use all Apple devices now and the code appears and is automatically inserted into the screen regardless of which device I am on: my Mac Studio, MacBook Pro, iPads or iPhone. Last year I had finally reached the end of my tolerance with Microsoft (I was in IT since before Windows version 1.0... no, it wasn’t even bootable), I got rid of my last Microsoft computer... my life is so much better.

Cloud Flare is gawdawful. Actually most everything functional about this site is heinous. Constantly confirming if I'm human...then not responding anyway.

@travelinjack - Yes, I believe it may be related to using a VPN w/o a dedicated IP address.  I have one system with and one without VPN and I am asked to log in and 2FA constantly on the one with VPN.

I get dumped often as well.  Sometimes it’s after just a few days nd sometimes it’s after a couple of weeks and there’s no rhyme or reason to why.

Same for me.  I recently "saved" my login info to the site and it makes it much easier than having to look up the info.

@acresverde you are a brave man, don’t have a cell phone.

Life was easier before computers and internet. But the genie is out of the bottle and now becoming more and more arduous to do anything. Just MHO.

This stinks big time

To get code(s) I have to go outside as there’s zippo cell service in house. Using phone, iPad, laptop or desk top only furthers the PIA problem as sign in is device independent.  Oh Tammy where art thou?

Maybe in this age of AI infused bots this is needed? Makes sense if it’s on the sales part of Agon where there is money involved. I thought the two sides were bifurcated? Beats me.

Snoopy sigh.

Had the same problem from UAE. Speak to Tammy in support. Sorted the problem out in a day.

Good luck

Yes, but I can't fault them for requiring 2 factor authentication these days:  imagine if someone hacks your account, and makes a purchase after changing the delivery address, and your credit card is billed?  It's decreases risks for the Audiogon users as well.
