How cheap can you go and still be happy with the sound?
The bedroom set up is:   Yamaha WXA-50 which cost around $550 and Focal Chorus 706 which cost around $600 here in Vietnam.  They sound very good in the bedroom.

The Philharmonic BMR Monitor is really nice but you'd have to pre-order the June/July 2024 batch to get them. Others not mentioned to consider MoFi PointSource 8, KLH Model 5, and Wharfedale Linton.
