I have bought three pieces: Grado RS1 Classic headphones, Burson Audio Soloist headamp/preamp and Purist Audio Aquila power cord. All used. Oh yes, I also have got two sealed Maxell Metal Vertex clank cassette tapes.

***Everything with an X after it is now gone, and with good reason I’ve done so much buying & selling the past 18 months.
In the spring I purchased a used Node 2. Beginning of summer I purchased a pair of used Spendor S3/5's to see if I enjoyed British mini monitors, 4 weeks after that I picked up a very gently used pair of Graham Chartwell LS3/5's.
After purchasing a McIntosh MC302 amp early in the year, I recently purchased two pairs of Nordost Red Dawn Leif Series Interconnects. One for each McIntosh tuner in both of my systems.

***Everything in the top half of this post is now gone, except for the Emotiva and Mod Squad. The Schiit is also gone, but looking for another one. For good reason (a discussion for another time perhaps), but I guess I’ve seriously had the Audio bug this year, haven’t I :)
This is the year I went crazy and dived in deep for a 2 channel system. - Martin Logan Motion 40 Towers- Vincent SV-500 Integrated- Questyle CMA400i DAC- Moon by Simaudio 110lp V2 Phono Pre-Amp - Ortofon 2M Blue Cartridge for the Denon DP-300F TT- AudioQuest Speaker Cables Type 4- Custom Built HTPC Next Up, better interconnects, Power Conditioner and some room acoustic treatments and then I'm done for a little while. I am enjoying everything though, so I guess it's worth it.
New equipment this year? None, Nada, Zero, Zilch.......
New LPs this year? About 200, mostly used and mostly flipped to buy better LPs.
Finally broke down and started a Spotify subscription this year. It's such a great service. Wish it was hi-res because the library is incredible for my listening tastes.
Zyx 4D cartridge (replaced Benz Ebony L) very nice 2 Sumiko S-10 subwoofers (Rel S-5 clones) These made a B-I-G-G-G difference in my 5000+ cu ft room Conrad Johnson CT5 Preamp WOW!!!!
My Redgum integrated broke so I got Burson Timekeeper power amp to play music with Burson Soloist preamp and WyWires Platinum cables. I can send the Redgum to Australia for repairs but it probably makes little sense, it is 18 years old and Burson duo sounds significantly better.
Trilogy 907 phono stage It replaced my much appreciated Nagra BPS. I met with Nic Poulson at Axpona to better understand his work and, specifically, the 907. It's still breaking in, but so far I am really quite pleased. And I bought it new - what a concept!
Thus far replaced amp with 260.8 mono's Added PS P12 (absolutely astounded by the difference that made) Now it is power cables...just installed a SW Black Thunder for P12 and should have Monday a pair of paragon ac9 se mkii for amps. I suspect I will be cable swapping for the remainder of the year....
So far - I bought a subscription to QoBuz, a 2009 MacMini with (2) 1TB SSD, upgraded my cabling to CAT 7 or 8 (no fancy overpriced stuff - I test it all), and found a stash of pre-recorded cassettes that I can play in my 2002 car.

Phomchick, I'm glad there is hope for these speakers (Infinity 2000A). I should note that mine were pretty much in the prime of life -- or should have been-- when I sold them sometime in the early 1980s.
This is the first year in a long time that I haven't bought any new gear. The reason is I really like the way it sounds right now. So, instead, I bought a Orient Triton dive watch and a Strapcode Angus Jubilee strap to go with it. 👍
I had two pairs of these
lovely speakers and was surprised and saddened when I eventually went to
sell them. Most of the RTR tweeters were totally dead.
@dopogue Yes, that can happen. These speakers are approaching 50 years old. But as I mentioned in my post, I'm an old Infinity hand and had enough know how and spare parts to fully restore the pair of non-operational 2000As that I bought. If anyone is curious about this odd saga of old speakers, they could Google "Infinity 2000A Restoration"
I had two pairs of these lovely speakers and was surprised and saddened when I eventually went to sell them. Most of the RTR tweeters were totally dead. I had no idea. Must have overdriven them at some point though I normally listen at mid to low levels. Just fyi.
I've had a good year with the first updates to my system in nearly 20 years. Sounds great. Rega P6 Dynavector 10x5 SimmAudio Moon 110LP Phono Pre REL S/5 SHO sub
