I’ll be soaking it in for all three days.
MC cartridge for Clearaudio Concept 1600$
I agree with @knock1 about the Umamai Blue but starting with the Hana ML would be an excellent introduction to MC and the performance would exceed @iad  Sumiko in a positive way.  I have an ML that is in rotation with my SS Hyperion MR and Lyra Kl...

Turntable suggestions for a newbie
I would recommend revisiting the ClearAudio option.  I have owned VPI, Techniques, Origin Live, among others and had a ClearAudio Concept Air on extended loan recently.  It performed at a level well above my expectations and had very non intrusive...
new member, some questions, need help please
I remember my first Wilson Audio experience and understand your interest. If you are on the east coast of the US then the upcoming Capital Audiofest outside of Washington DC this November is highly recommended. The WattPuppy line did seem to matur...
Recommendations for a new 2-channel amp
I have experience with a few of the Advance Paris (AP) models as a friend is a dealer.  The A10 is nice but my recent time with the AP MyConnect 250 revealed it to great sounding and versatile option.  All the AP MyConnect levels (60, 150, and 250...
Need to purchase a separate ground cable - from my TT to my Phono Preamp
Any basic wire can be used for a ground between the TT and the phono preamp.  I have made some with spade termination and have used some with just raw wire terminations.  It is not in the signal path.
Windows Sound Basics - ASIO WASAPI etc
Yes the driver were required for my Gryphon DAC module to properly communicate with the Windows operating system. No driver required for Apple.  That downloadable software from Gryphon had the ASIO driver included.
Windows Sound Basics - ASIO WASAPI etc
This was posted by Brian from Roon on their site 2 years ago: ”ASIO and WASAPI are different interfaces that applications can use to play sound on Windows. WASAPI is Microsoft’s current native interface for audio playback, and ASIO is a 3rd party...
Windows Sound Basics - ASIO WASAPI etc
I have always tried to download the ASIO driver that manufacturers offer for Windows.  The original VEGA (and subsequent versions) has a downloadable AISO driver that you can find by digging around their site The original one was for older Windows...
Phono cable for SL-1200G
@newfzx7 is correct in his statement Generally you want a low capacitance cable between the turntable and phono stage. Look to see what manufacturers give measurements for this. This is most critical when using MM cartridges, but search for th...
New cartridge ideas...
Another cartridge could be your correct step, but you have sated this one is not yet broken in... As your speakers settle more with their run in you have the opportunity to do additional setup adjustments to see if you have possible improvements.
What's my best upgrade options
I think looking at your sources (Vinyl or CD playback) would be an area that the improvement you seek could be found.  Decide which one you predominantly use for your playback and focus in that area to see what improvement it brings.  Clarity from...
Small speaker advice
I will second the Joseph Audio Pulsars. I have heard them perform well in a room similar is size to yours.  A friend also has the Sabrina X speakers in a 12 x 14 room with McIntosh electronics that sounds wonderful.
