for the entrance to my barn i went to a musical instrument store and purchased inexpensive used instruments; a guitar, a lute, a clarinet, and a trumpet, and a sax, and mounted them on the wall. never get tired of how it looks.

I got some movie pop art done by these fellows and really liked the results. Their frames are heavy duty and they’re packaged really well. Occasionally they have sales like 2 for 1 and such so I just got on their mailing list for specials.

Well, since you asked, I was a concert photographer through the 1970's in the SF Bay Area, and have a lot of photos of a lot of bands who came through. I've got an Etsy store called 'MyPixRock' and have 8.5x11, 13x19, and 17x22 prints available.

The only piece of art I have in my stereo room is a 15x20 blow up of a medium format black-and-white I took during my travel adventures. It's a grab shot of a guy playing the saxophone beneath an arch of a bridge over the River Seine in Paris. It's not that I'm a great photographer or anything, but sometimes you just get lucky. I heard a saxophone and followed my ears.

FWIW, I use canvas prints as wall treatments in my listening room. Mine are photos I have taken over the years so they bring back fond memories while listening.

This outfit has stock music art and does great work. I've had them stretch and frame a few canvases for me, and was impressed with their work every time.

@larsman -- I don't know if it's my computer or your website, but I can't get anything other than the main webpage to load.  When I try to look at the photos or click any of the tabs, all I get is a blank screen.  Anybody else having this problem?

On ebay there is an artist under the listing "the_sent" I've bought around two dozen prints from him. He does primarily band art and it's fantastic. All his prints are autographed and dated. Several different sizes to choose from and priced right. Tell him I sent you. If you put a few of his pieces in your cart, you will receive a notification for a discount shortly after.

I like those frames you can put records in to display. But art.com is good too. The frames cost more than the art, but they do a good job. Plus, their customer service is very good. I once got a framed print that I thought was a little off and they just shipped out a new one, frame and all and said keep the old one. 

@larsman i'm having the same issue.  can't see anything. 

@shtinkydog and anybody else; for the time being, please do not go to the www.mypixrock.com website; it needs to be fixed. However, you can see the pictures on my Etsy shop, called MyPixRock , and that IS case-sensitive.

There are several places where one can have a picture printed on canvas for making sound panels. I have used ATS acoustics for this.

BTW, if anybody wants to see my 70’s concert photos on my Etsy store, here’s what you need to do:

Type in "MyPixRock" in the search bar; it will assume you want a product with a rock, and those are what is returned.

However, and it’s not easy to notice, right underneath the link bar with ’Jewelry & Accessories’, ’Clothing & Shoes’, etc it puts up a line "Did you mean the shop MyPixRock?".

Click the ’MyPixRock’ in that line; it’s a link right to my Etsy store.

My concert photo website, www.mypixrock.com, which was down a few days ago, has been fixed and is now available again....

@larsman -- Larry, you have some freaking fantastic photos.  Some that stood out: the Robin Trower "faces" shots; Phil looking menacing in Thin Lizzy; "Flower" and "Watcher" Gabriel; and of course, David Gilmour.

I've heard a bootleg recording of that Montrose show at Winterland -- incredible.  I saw Montrose right before Hagar left.  Such a shame...they could have been a force for a long time.  Again, great work.  I'll be in touch.

I moved to San Francisco in 1973, and the first concert I saw there was at Winterland, and the opener was some new band of local musicians called Montrose.  They totally blew me away - if only Ronnie and Sammy could have gotten along, I think they could have been the American Led Zeppelin.

@tony1954 - I submitted some of my stuff to Morrison Hotel a number of years ago, and they liked it, but were unable to do anything with it as they insisted on having releases from the artists, which I've never had....
