I do not miss them at all.  Perhaps you like to see a lot of arguments here?  I, for one, can do without all of that.  Life is way too short.

Arguments could go in your head in loops or in linear sequences... It is called "thinking" in a very restricted sense of the word meaning for sure...

A thinking machine dont need someone to argue with.... A.I. dont PLAY chess...

When 2 people are here, it is empathy, love, friendship, common values and common goal level and respect that matter.... Not only arguments....We all like music/sound investigation or experiences...

I know that you know that for sure then i apologize to you because i dont want to contest your one line post common place fact... I just want to put my grain of salt like you did...

In audio thread, we must accept everybody nor for their arguments right or wrong, but for what they are first and second if we accepted that they have the right to exist, we can AFTER that discuss about "truth" and some perspective oriented in truth and for truth....

I dislike only hate , i try to be interested only first by people here and their arguments in second...But too much evident back-thougths implicit intentions repel me also...

I like open heart people...Most are like that here i think....

I come here to read people posts and sometimes add my little grain of salt...

My audio system/room is done and i listen music and like to discuss, perhaps a bit too much i agree...

I'm sorry MC is not here as I was going to message him. I wanted to send him a sample of a tweak I call Strange Matter. I just felt he would appreciate it. If anyone else with decent equipment, a similar attitude and an open mind would care to receive the sample instead, please let me know. There's no charge whatsoever. I've sent samples of previous (far less effective) tweaks to other Audiogon members in the distant past. Strange Matter is not for sale and never will be. It's my gift to humanity. It is adhesive backed thin tape and must be stuck directly onto the mains breaker box. Imagine PPT x 10.

It’s a carbon (mix of 3 types) based paint on a thin (.4mm) magnetic sheet with adhesive backing. The paint is sealed with a thin plastic coating. You can trim it to size with scissors, remove the backing paper and stick it to the mains breaker box, obviously safely away from the switches themselves. If you have a PPT Gate, you can stick it onto the surface of The Gate. Use it like PPT mats if you like, with the additional benefit of the adhesive backing. You can also stick pieces anywhere on the equipment chassis (underneath for example). If you are skillful and careful, you can wind strips around cables. All cables will benefit, data, power or signal cables. Also on internet box and wifi modem, and all associated data cables. The closer you can get the tape to the mains power, the better. It would work best on the incoming mains cable outside the house, if that were legal, haha. Please don't ask me how I know.

SR‘s tuning discs are carbon fibre based based, but I was leaning towards the notion that certain minerals were being suspended in the carbon matrix to give it the required properties.  I wonder whether the mineral paint additives are contributing towards providing the same sort of effect ?

Yes there are carbon based substances which have sonic benefits beyond your wildest dreams. I happen to have discovered them. I have no idea if SR uses them in the carbon tuners. I suspect not.

Then it is here like on any internet place, no right and no freedom...Call it a corporate distatorship...

I miss him also because his style and personality was original and humor filled but i miss his heartfelt expression more...

I dont doubt that i will be banned too someday... Or you....The problem is not being banned it is being banned WITHOUT explanation...

It is like being imprison without any justification given... Think about Kafka " Trial"...

I consider all people here like friends, even if i disagree with them, then when one is banned a part of me is banned...

I communicated with him weeks ago. He was banned without warning or explanation, presumably because in one post he told one of his idiotic taunters that he was gonna kick his ass or something like that, which of course he would never do. In our woke society though, we can't even joke about such things.

He was a great member and contributor, and I miss him.  He may have said something inappropriate, but several creeps here provoked him on numerous occasions.

I agree with @roxy54 … the punishment doesn’t fit the crime. His patronizing and condescending tone and shilling for specific brands aside, he has every right to participate in these forums. Just because he offended the sensibilities of several members, doesn’t mean he should be banned

But in a sidenote, read all ferocious audiophiles here vouching for their own gear brand name product and attacking everyone else pointing to the opposite...or the insults exhange between the "subjectivism brand name gear fetichists" against the "objective measuring tools fetichists"...

Then he was not faulty at all  if we judge him in this context...

No explanation, and no sound reason, arbitrary decision with no recourse...

We cannot ban someone because his writing humoristic style is too colored...

Why am I not surprised? I think most of the posters that worked to get him banned don’t actually own any equipment or music. There are a lot of posters here that never contribute reviews or advice. They only show up and attack someone that upsets their tiny little glass world. Pathetic.
