The best speaker cables you’ve had

Simply put, the best you’ve owned and/or heard.

@audiojan  "Silversmith Fidelium (own), replaced Cardas Clear Beyond (which was the best I've heard and owned before the Silversmiths)"

I recently added a pair to my system. What amp and speakers do you pair them with?

Van Den Hul The Revelation speaker cables are the best I have tried and still own.

Best I’ve had? Easily Black Cat Cable - Stargate. Sadly unobtanium at this point.

Paired with a few speakers that have 6-8ohm loads. Haven’t heard it with really high or low ohm loads.

Owned Kimber 8ag, Tellurium black diamond, Nordost Tyr., Audioquest Sterling.

Infigo audio we are giving demos. Do your research contact for demos. Calvin Johnson with Infigo audio

Kubala Sosna Emotion.   2nd behind them were Audioquest

William Tell biwires.

Mogami 3103, homemade.  Replaced Analysis Plus Oval 9's which replaced everything else I have heard since the 1960's.  Outstanding speaker cables!

Kubala-Sosna Realization, which I own, and they are perhaps the most natural sounding I have heard.

Just a follow up. ''FURUTECH FS-α36 Flagship OCC HIFI Speaker Cable Fever Grade Audio'' Last week I replaced the Monoprice 4/12 cable on 1 side of my system to compare both cables. There's no compresence, the Furutech wins hands down. I loved my system setup as it was, but now, I've noticed a sense of clearness in the 1 channel.

A local dealer uses Nordost exclusively - makes every system sound better than they should,.

I use Kimber 12TC, bi extended, clear and refined,  perfect for my system.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^;

last weekend I pulled the other cable, now both channels have the Furutech. I can't get over how good this cable is. Worth every penny, the best upgrade I've done in years! I just might rewire my surround speakers.. Down the Rabbit hole again! LOL

unless you hear a cable in your own system you have no idea about its performance

Auditorium23, gets you 90% of Shindo for a fraction of the price. Simply superb, particularly with high efficiency speakers and tubes

How would you describe the differences between the knock off "Odin Gold" and the Silver....tonal balance, detail, top end smoothness, etc.

In my 100% SS system the silver was a bit too bright, the Gold is just a touch smoother

I am selling my best speaker cables. The Audience FrontRow. Only works with mono blocks due to the short length. I sold my monos.

+1 @danmar123 on the FS a36.  I just made and replaced my speaker wires which were generic 8g copper with new Furutech FS a36 which I terminated with Furutech gold plated spades (very nice).  I ran this pair to the high inputs, and kept the older copper pair running to the low level speaker inputs.  Big increase in clarity and resolution!  I have long runs of 25' each, so buying bulk here for this system made sense.  My other system uses K-S Realization.  Chris at VHAudio suggested this cable for this length of run.  Super nice guy.  And, my coolest upgrade was the battery (Ryobi) heat gun which made smooth work of the heat shrink I used to make pretty cables!

@fastfreight ; I'm happy to hear someone else has tried this cable. I have  external networks & feeding my speaker, running to each driver, using Elf OCC 16g doubled up. I still have plenty of wire to terminate each speaker, but going to let the Furitech run in a while. Happy listening!

And by the way, Chris is a gentleman. I’ve dealt with him for years now, & respect his output.
