Would you move to a bigger house if you could just to have a better listening room ?
Just for a better listening room ? NO. There are many other factors to consider first if I sold my home to move to another home.
How much should I expect with a warranty issue from a large retailer/distributor?
Cmon that ain’t bad. Spend the 100 bucks. Get it fixed. Pack it up and ship it. U have all the original packing. Get it over with. It’s a no brainer.
Unplugging power cords from amps/ pre amps
Ty everyone. From reading all your replies I think it will be ok to disconnect from the comments ends. I also do have 4 dedicated outlets for my components and to be more on the safe side I will also turn off the 4 dedicated breakers also before d...

You have to take care of your wife’s or significant others sweet spot also. I don’t think you are working to hard on that.
Leaving tube amps on.
@jetter   Read my post from last year about when I first bought my Ref 750s. I had a tube arc from a bad KT150.

@pindac Thank you for clarity on Red plate. I was just gonna ask how important tube bias is and what can happen if not biased.
Leaving tube amps on.
@pindac Thank you for your response. But what is Valve red plating ? I never heard of it.

@immatthewj  I generally warm up my equipment about 15 - 20 min. Then I will listen at about 15db for about 15 min before going up to my usual 28db listening level. But to tell ya the truth the amps sound dam good even from a cold start for listen...

@czarivey   Thanks for your response. These are my first tube amps I have ever owned. I went from a Krell FPB 600 to the ARC Ref 750s. My first day of owning them I was listening for about 10 min and had a tube arc from a KT150 tube. It sounded li...

@ghdprentice  Thanks for your response. I have to agree now with you. These 750s do have a slow start. And considering the options of leaving them on or off during some of my short listening sessions during the day / night I will now be turning th...
Leaving tube amps on.
@simao   Ty. I just read it.  @jea48  Ty. Yes. I have to agree with what u said. Sometimes I don’t listen to music for 4 or more hours later in the day. So it would make sense to shut them down. Anything less I’ll leave on sometimes it’s maybe 2 h...
What is preferred/best contact cleaner these days?
This is a very interesting topic for me. Until I read this I totally forgot about cleaning my contacts for a few years now. I found what I was using and it was Kontak. I still have a half bottle left. I will do all my connections today. I was surp...
Power cords: does length matter?
@ghdprentice That really would be interesting and fun to visit each other systems. I listen mostly to classic rock , soft rock , pop, Motown , some county , some jazz , some classical. My volume is typically 80 - 86db.
Power cords: does length matter?
@ghdprentice  Yes I did have 2 - 2 m HC Dragon and 2 - 1 m HC Dragon PCs. One of my dedicated outlets for my amp is about 1.5 m away and the other dedicated outlet is about 3/4 m  away from my other amp. At first I tried both 2 m HC Dragon PCs on ...
