Wireless kit for Subwoofers?
The REL system works great for me, and comes onboard some of their better subs. The freedom of placing the subs where they fit and sound best is huge.
high end standmounts that do not punish poor recordings?
Hello @audiocanada ,  I am currently fishing in the Land of Lakes area near Mountain Grove, Ontario.  My family has enjoyed a cabin on a lake here since the 1960’s.  Like you I have all SS electronics, Audionet Max amps  with high current  like yo...
I lately wonder why I’m an Audiophile.
Please.  You took effort to put together a nice system and now you enjoy it.
Bookshelf speakers- Buying a Bargain
Dynaudio Contour 20i. Even better Dynaudio Confidence 20.  Not bargain basement just good.
Why did you lean one way or the other
I tried tubes.  BHK from PSAudio.   I had noise issues.   Tried Audionet SS pre and amps.  Never looked back.  Amazing.
Neil Young
I have seen him many times and would not hesitate to go. Saw him last summer in northern Virginia, and he did not disappoint. Even had a double rainbow in the parking lot!

I see it as a wife sponsored opportunity to upgrade!
New house, wife reveals she hates my Maggies- looking for stand mount speaker suggestions
I always felt that a floor stander takes no more room than a stand mount so why bother?  But visually, stand mounts are more appealing and have a much smaller 'visual' footprint. I had large floor standers in our Kitchen / Family room.  Tried a p...
Streamers rabbit hole
Consider an Auralic Altair G2.2 https://us.auralic.com/products/altair-g2-2 I own an Altair G1.1 and 2.1 in my vacation home.  Rock solid on WiFi or wired.  I find it considerably better than several Bluesound products, but have not tried an Ico...
The verdict - Burmester 232 is worth MUCH MUCH MUCH more than its price!!!
No Facebook for me.
God, I hate to ask this…
My thoughts are with you.  A good audio dealer relationship can help your spouse with fair and easy relocation of your equipment.  We should all know someone we trust by now.  Best of luck.  Don’t get rid of what you love.  TMR requires a bit of w...
Should I get the Moon 891 streamer/dac/preamp for my Moon 861 amp? Or separates?
Hello @dman777 ,  you have a wonderful amp.  Like some, I am in the separates camp and realize the benefit of that more now than ever.  I also believe a quality preamp is almost always better than a volume control in a DAC or DAC / streamer.  Whil...
Do you recall "instant improvement" from your first stand-alone DAC ?
Yes!  At every DAC upgrade I heard more resolution, more life, more engagement.  My upgrade path went Classe internal DAC > PS Audio DS1 > Auralic Vega G2 > Mola Mola Tambaqui.  (All using internal bridge).  Then I got a decent streamer, ...
Has anyone sold over $35k worth of equipment over the net? How do you protect yourself?
100% @bigtwin  For smaller purchases, PP F/F is fine.  Anything major, wire transfer, or cash on pick up.  It is up to the buyer to vet the seller through conversation, feedback, etc.  Always ship fully insured, after payment received and cleared...
Why not more wireless connections?
I agree with 'wire everything you can'.  With one exception in my case :).  My REL Carbon Limited subs run wirelessly on REL's Longbow system.  Why?  I had node (booming) issues with the subs in traditional (easily wired) positions.  I found with ...
