Congratulations, great choice!  Looking forward to your thoughts on how it sounds in your system.

You should never buy an amplifier without hearing it with your speakers.Speaker/amplifier synergy is critical and relatively rare and should never be assumed.

I have the 550 ax2 with 93db tannoys... 595 popped up for upgrade but I (very shallow) would miss the dancing meters.....

My unboxing lasts seconds… only hindered by the laws of physics. I have a single minded goal of getting it in my system and playing with alacrity.

Nothing like unboxing a new toy….  Plus Luxman is really nice quality.   Money well spent

I was using the Luxman 595 with my Proac D-40r speakers.

I also heard it at length with Wilson Benesch Resolution speakers, which were a great match with the Luxman 595

Congrats! The Luxman 595 is a great integrated amp. I owned one for a while and would have been happy with it long term.

@liza The 590 was my top Luxman choice before I saw the 595. I'm guessing the jump in sound quality from the 590 to the 595 is probably very small since, I think, are the same except for the build, chassis and some upgraded features/parts. How would you compare the two?

@larry5729 I run two ZU Audio Omen defs. The tall black things are bass traps. Thanks for the kind words, My room is a mess right now. I'm slowly getting thins back to normal

Luxman would be my first choice.  I would not be able to afford more than the 509.  I have the wife factor to deal with.  What kind of speakers do you have?  Looks like you are running 4 speakers.  Unless that tall black one to the left is a subwoofer.  Looks also like a nice listening room.  I hate seeing ugly, monstrous looking system with no racking.  I have my system located in our living room, which used to be the museum.  My gear is inside a beautiful cabinet, a real piece of furniture.  Good luck with your choice.  Build quality on a Luxman is world class.

Great choice!  I've been enjoying my 590AXII for the past couple of months; end game amp purchase for me, replacing about $10K worth of separates. Certainly hard to fault the build quality, not to mention the sonics.

I’ll keep using my 1980 SAE Two A14 Integrated. Designed in CA, manufactured by Luxman. Dual mono construction. A real sleeper! Parametric tone controls, world class amp and MM/MC phono pre.

Luxman was the first electronics manufacturer in Japan, started in 1925. They source as many components as possible in country. As a Luxman owner, welcome to the club, enjoy.

When I was kicking the tires on integrated amp, I was either going to go Hegel or Luxman. I went Hegel, but Luxman was very very close and if I get another integrated, Luxman will be first on my list.

Congratulations!

Congratulation Aberyclark for your purchase of Luxman. I've seen that on USAUDIOMARKET with still has warranty on it. You got number 40 mine was 41. I'm really happy also on my upgrade from Luxman 590ax ii. I'm running with Sonner Legato Anum bookshelf and Harbeth C7 35th Anniversary. They like the aftermarket power cable.

OP, congratulations. I had some time to listen to their flagship M-900u for a few hours last weekend. Nice sound.

@artemus_5

I have only dealer with them on this purchase. Super nice guy. Their reviews are great and they are authorized service for some brands. I’d write Mike, tell him you heard about them on my video.

I wish you all the best, even though Luxman makes me cringe after my experience with it in the mid-late 80’s. I hope it is all you want it to be. Congrats

BTW @aberyclark I looked at an amp at Hudson HiFi and may call them about re storing my HK730 receiver. have you dealt with them previously or for repair work?

Nice, she's a beauty.  If I were to downsize, I would go a similar route with a Luxman Integrated.  They just sound and look beautiful.  Congrats!

Congrats on the Luxman. I hope you enjoy it for the long term.

All the best,
Nonoise
