Cast into Utter Darkness

What song or composition would you send to oblivion due to hearing it played umpteen times? Not the worst song, just one beaten to death over the years.

Bohemian Rhapsody.   Queen.

"Hey Jude" and "Ramblin' Man" come immediately to mind. And if I never hear "Freebird" again I'll be just fine.

OH!!!!  And during football season, how many times do you hear Ozzy Osbourne's Crazy Train on any given Sunday on TV?  Come on, NFL, just change the record already.

I've got a few:

Benny and the jets - Elton John

Call me - Blondie

I will survive - Gloria Gaynor

Love is a cattlefield - Pat Benatar

But like @jpwarren58 stated, Bohemian Crapsody takes it by miles.  One of the most annoying things ever.

This is why I stopped listening to the radio (except for college stations) in 1968.

Bolero of Ravel, Hotel California definitely.

Let it be.

Waterloo by ABBA.

Any mainstream Queen song you hear on the radio everyday once an hour.  What happened to program directors that loved and played great music ?

They mostly disappeared in cost cutting. However, I have a local FM station that plays whatever the DJ's are feeling that day, KCRW.com.

PHiladelphia freedom.  One summer I spent a lot of nights "parking" with my girlfriend at the time.  It was on AM radio every other song.

Money for Nothing.....great intro, great concept at the time.  Radio stations played the $hit out of it.

Bolero of Ravel....

😊

A nightmare masterpiece even for his creator...

It must have been written, but it is not necessary to listen to it after the first time...

Absolute perfect musical dead end...

I did not even hate it...

i put it off...
