The Krell mystery Or if Kristopher still does not want to run the business himself, he is in a position to sell his controlling interest, either to Bicking, or Bose, or Harmon (Samsung), or etc.
Your last concert was to see who and when? I enjoyed a live solo performance today by jazz pianist Sabine Pothier with an intimate group in a spacious venue. She interpreted jazz standards with intellectual flair and masterful execution. And I appreciated hearing live music directly, witho...
Do you agree with John Atkinson (and me)? No, I do not agree. The expenditures are both independent variables, subject to uncorrelated pricing structures. I am tempted to sneer at your Tower Records store manager who I assume is listening to the garbage put out by a poor man's shitty lo...
Does anyone listen to the radio anymore? I listen to KJazz 88.1 and KUSC 91.5 for background while reading etc. I look forward to learning about music and performers I haven't known about -- helps direct me toward what discs to buy. For sound quality, in my AV system my Etude competes ...
Beware: Magnum Dynalab are not "doing repairs, upgrades or service right now"!! I contacted Magnum Dynalab to request a replacement center tune meter for my Etude in November 2023. Audiophile Equipment Repair? Not in your region, but a plug for my area: I have the good fortune of having found a competent electronics repair guy who has worked on my Mark Levinson 390s, my Magnum Dynalab Etude, as well as other equipment. Electro Tech Services in the Mont...
What is the Bu-ray plauyer that you are using? Count me as another happy Oppo BDP103 owner. Good enough, no complaints.
Krell Moves to new location Reading this thread is sad for me. There have been so many missed opportunities to support brand goodwill by simple communications. Can such destruction of value be deliberate? For the experienced legal minds among us, I ask Which parties benef...
Can you recommend Jazz for some one that doesn't like Jazz? Some very knowledgeable posts here already. I'll just add my 5 recommendations -- you mentioned "smooth jazz," so here are some well recognized albums: Breezin by George Benson Duotones by Kenny G The In Crowd by Ramsey Lewis A Day in the Lif...
Have an integrated amp with only 1 subwoofer out... it seems you might want to get an amp with better connectivity options. Or perhaps a cheaper alternative would be to get a preamp with a tape loop and insert that between your sources and your amp.
Is the microwave the perfect model for audio marketting? I remember Microsoft applications bloatware. Lots of stuff I didn't need just slowed the computer.
What is your go-to online place to buy physical medium of music? And why? Another vote for Elusive Disc. |
