Yes she had a quite small frame but a large voice. Good pair of lungs and arguably did resembled a munchkin.
After some advice from @chrisochea (thank you) l was enticed to listen to her English songs last night and heard positive results….l suddenly found her to be less annoying. Singing in French l always considered her diction to be rasping and excruciating, but in English her voice is a little more mellow and rolled off.
I must confess her English adaptations only caused a slight irritation, but while listening l still felt l was running into the yellow brick wall.
Ultimately I’ve now decided l will not be revisiting this artist again……well l’m off to have a wiz. Nature is unexpectedly making that call for some reason after reliving all this.
The recording artist is for me someone l just can’t listen to.

This one has now reached a magical set of numbers for a ‘music’ section question not designed to be a reoccurring post like… “What is playing on your turntable tonight?” or “Tune of the day” which by their nature will go on forever.
This morning it was a nice surprise seeing 11000 views and 350 posts. It has reached a respectable peak, plus for me it has been an enjoyable climb and all in just over 2 weeks.

If he, she, or they (a band) are "recording artists", I respect them all (even if I don't particularly care for the music they make). It is the "non-artists" I have a problem with. And sad to say, it is the latter category that dominates the music business. Does that opinion make me an "elitist"? Perhaps. I know from the posts of other Audiogon members that I am not alone.
Those lyrics have been around on the internet for a long time, @mylogic; lord snowflake didn’t write them. Texas Jerry is already working on his next A'gon identity; no doubt he will appear again, but not as Texas Jerry.

Lord snowflake. I wouldn’t have even had a chance to read those lyrics that you plagiarized from the internet if A’gon didn’t send out an automated email with part of your stolen song in it. By the time I got there your plagiarism was already gone, and the fact that it is plagiarism may be the reason.
As far as deleted posts on this thread, I believe most of them have been mine, and it doesn't matter to me, but I personally suspect Texas-Jerry.

@immatthewj l think Audiogon only send an automated email of a deleted post to the actual member who posted it, and the first line is always visible.
@mylogic, the automated emails I am referring to is when you are mentioned in a post. For example, the 2 emails I received due to your post that I am now responding to. Same thing with lord snowflake’s post in which he mentioned me. His post had already been removed, but the first few words of the song he plagiarized from some internet site were included in the second email.
For example, you should have also received an email similar to this:

There must be something different happening in the States.
When l receive a notification of someone posting directly to me, l only receive my original post heading. There is no second email of the content of that post like the example you have kindly shown. I have never seen anything like the one you have posted (thank you) to me. So there has never been the option to open this with “view full response” etched in blue. The only info is “You were mentioned in a discussion”…Most odd.
I monitor on my iPhone and iPad (not PC) and wonder why the system operates differently here in the UK〰️〰️〰️ over the pond.

I can take Bjork! for a few songs, but not very many at one time. Her vocal gymnastics are just too hard on the ears. She makes Kate Bush sound sublime by comparison.
