New cartridge vs. Re-tipped
+1 for Andy Kim. He retipped a ZuAudio and a Cardas Myrtle Heart for me. He said they would sound better after he retipped them; I thought puffery. He was dead on accurate.  Wonderful work at reasonable prices, and very fast turnaround time.

I bought a Transrotor turntable and Acoustic Signature TA-1000 tonearm 10 days ago to avoid tariffs. Or so I told myself and my wife.

I done. I have said that about as many times as I said I was quitting smoking cigarettes.  I did quit cigarettes a couple of decades ago.  Much easy to quit smoking than to stop upgrading stereo equipment.

My housekeeper pulled the cantilevers out of two cartridges:  a Cardas Myrtle and a ZuAudio. Andy said they would they would sound better when I received them back from him.  I was skeptical; he was right. Very quick turnaround.
