Christmas ( Baby, please come home) by Darlene Love.

Her voice and the wall of sound is a great combination. Puts a smile on my face every time I hear it.

A strong 2nd on "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)", sung by the magnificent Darlene Love, produced by the madman Phil Spector. Written by the powerhouse team of Spector/Greenwich/Berry. Intense, dramatic, and exhilarating! Tension & release as satisfying as anything I’ve heard outside of Beethoven and Wagner.

(take that Grandma & your stupid reindeer :-)

Time Life Christmas.  Great collection including Burl Ives, Roger Whitaker, Elvis, gene Autry. Bing Crosby.  There are several different versions .  But this one we like best.  Well recorded.

So many good Christmas songs...I guess I'll go with "We need a little Christmas" Johnny Mathis. Ask me in an hour and I'll probably have different favorite.

I previously gave a nod to Old Toy Trains by Glen Campbell. From the same album, this song is really beautiful and heartfelt, Little Altar Boy.

Changed my mind.

I offer this classic arrangement of Mel's Christmas Song from 2013.
By the totally fertile Kyle & Jackie.

It was his Christmas present to his dad.
They did 8 tracks.
In between being a football player and becoming a father hisself.

'Breath of Heaven' (Mary's Song) by Amy Grant.  Her 1992 Christmas album was finally re-released on vinyl a few years ago and sounds wonderful.

Her voice is awfully thin and weak on some songs though. I have her Christmas disc because it's one of my brother's favorites, but I find that I rarely listen to it.

if a person does not know anything, does not understand or does not know how in some area, he can think about it VERY superficially ...

A drug addict, a moral freak or a libertine cannot talk and sing about Christmas ... but this is exactly what can be observed in songs of the entertainment genre ... popular artists have nothing to do with this ... do not forget this!
