A warm up for vinyl night as I clean several albums for tonight’s playlist. |
@tweak1. You can see my systems elsewhere on this site. I listened to it with my McIntosh C2500 tube preamp, McIntosh MC302 amp, Esoteric X-03 SACD player, Golden Ear Triton Reference speakers. Acrolink interconnects and power cord for the Esoteric player, custom interconnect made by VH audio from pre to amp and Shunyata power cords on both. Canare 4S11 speaker cable. |

@roberjerman, Love Blue Matter but on my Derem CD, it doesn't sound all that great, it sounds a little hooty and shouty if you know what I mean. I play it through my Esoteric SACD player which does have a great dac. I'm disappointed. How do you find the sound? |

@jjss49 mjq on cassette -- awesome!!! Yes, sounds wonderful. I was getting into Jazz right at the time LP’s, cassettes, and CD’s were all available. Glad I still have these cassettes. In fact, wish I had more of my old purchases from that period (mostly 80s-early 90’s) were on cassette than CD’s. Today will primarily be a cassette day, as far too often, they sit in their racks getting ignored ;-) |
