@oregonpapa: Any update on whether we will ever be able to purchase these again (and TC)?
Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat
What's sad is most aren't privy to an electronics or scientific education and not likely involved in the recording industry... The scams and gimmicks lead to feeling ripped off and disdain. People used to swing with as little as he or she heard it... Scientific facts, DNA cleaned up a lot of that. But hey if it works for you and your happy...Bonus Cheers |

In the spirit of cooperation, may I suggest this product? https://www.amazon.com/Debrox-Earwax-Removal-Drops-0-5oz/dp/B088WYBGB8/ref=zg_bs_3779891_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=544BXAMN9VJESKJ99D4M |
I have the Omega E mats in both solid state and tube systems. The solid state systems use Pass Lab amplifiers and PS Audio DACs and Marantz SACD players. The addition of the mats was significant and increased the emotional enjoyment of the music played. I would suggest placing one inside your dwelling's circuit breaker box and a second on top of your amplifier. Remember that they do take some time to reach their final effect. There will be an initial muffling effect but this change will transform into a noticeable sonic improvement. We have a similar background in that I am a physician, my son was an All State violin player, and I do get to listen to acoustic music "up close" as I am on the board of directors of the wonderful chamber music performances lead by cellist Zuill Bailey director of El Paso Pro Musica. Enjoy the experiment of placing the Omega E mats in your system. It is easy and fun to do and if the effect is not to your liking send them back. If you have any question please give me a call. Newcomer here. I wonder why nobody has posted here in a long time. I will copy my post to the new thread--New Omega E Mat from Perfect Path Technologies. My perspective is as a classical violinist who has performed solo in concertos with orchestra, chamber music, and as a listener who prefers the close up and bright sound of the 1st row of the hall. As a holistic MD who knows that we don't know all the technical reasons for why certain treatments work, I have an open mind to what anyone claims in their personal listening experiences. I also respect the physicists like Geoff Kaitt who are seeking to understand the technical reasons for audio performance. That said, I am confused by many of the sonic observations made. Of course, YMMV, but here goes. There is not much mention of various types of electronics used in poster's systems, but it seems that the majority is tube equipment. They like the fact that the E mat seems to make things sound rounder and more pleasant. Harsh sounding early CD's seem to have less harshness and brightness. Kedoades said that he usually didn't like his bright/edgy sounding Telefunken tubes, but after the E mat use, they sounded less bright. All this leads me to think that the E mat rolls off the high frequencies, or yields more emphasis on bass. On the other hand, these users claim that there is more detail and clarity heard, but is this mainly in the lower freq? What do the solid state accuracy and neutrality oriented users think? Usually, more accurate SS electronics reveals more HF than euphonic tube stuff, and exhibits less roundness and more harshness in lower quality recordings. I am curious enough to order these products and try for myself, but would just like some more clarity from the users. The new E mats may be a new ball game. Thanks to all. |

jkbtn Give the kid a break. Buy a tube of Total Contact, then paste the connections and let the music from that system really come through. You'll have enough left over to paste your main system as well. After you've completed the job, then come back here and tell us again how its all "snake oil." Frank |

Enjoyable, yes. Audiophile quality, no. There's more than loving and enjoying music to being an audiophile. There's a lot of music you are missing at the near bottom end (pricewise) of music reproduction equipment, you either don't know it or don't care to know it. This forum is not meant for you. It is irrelevant for you at this time (or maybe forever). |
Nice detective work... and I see some teamwork going on here. So who is the team leader of this snake oil business? uberwaltz or oregonpapa? And who are the followers? https://systems.audiogon.com/systems/7821 Can't you tell it's a young man's room? That's my second system I recently set up in my son's room since he left home. He got his degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from one of the top engineering colleges in the nation. I'm so proud of this bright young man. I got the tube amp just about 2 months ago. I've been thinking of posting my main system (massive class A amps/preamp/speakers and a new DAC, room treatment, etc..) but that's never going to happen. I don't want these people (you know who I'm talking about) to see it.Anyways the key component in this small system is the FM tuner. Just turn on the amp and tuner... no need to replace discs... no need to log in and browse. These days I rarely go down to the listening room. $500 for the tube amp, $150 for the CD player (actually i didn't need it), $20 for the FM tuner, $600 for the speakers, $100 for the speaker cables (Kimber 8tc), $50 for the 10awg power cable. The bottom line here is that you don't need to spend so much money to get yourself an enjoyable system. Being an audiophile is all about loving and enjoying music. Do not waste money on things that are not necessary. |
"... Using some of the most advance Quantum materials and carbon derivates, PerfectPath Technologies has developed a revolutionary set of effective Nanotechnology Power Conditioners, designed to enhance the electrical signal of your HI-FI audio equipment while protecting it from static & RFI/EMI disturbances. ..." https://www.perfectpathtechnologies.com/ Wow... Quantum materials, carbon derivatives, Nanotechnology. OMG those are big fancy words... do they even know how to derive the Schrodinger's wave equation (basics of quantum mechanics)??? Well, they seem to know how to derive the Snake Oil equation for sure. Hey, who stole the bat mobile... what's going on? Promoting another magic thing on here? |
I put two on the power sub-panel and one on the mains power panel. That was a really winner in my system. The others include 3 under the pre-amp/phono pre-amp, 2 under the CD player and 2 above, 2 below the Bryston BIT 20 isolation transformer spread out instead of stacked and one under the turntable (not that much difference-VPI TNT VI). |

I just received my package from Perfect Path. I read all of the posts here and on the Total Contact topic (well, nearly all!), positive and negative. I know that some under-the-radar tweeks such as piezo electric damping tape do work extremely well, but I was quite prepared to be disappointed with the E-Mats. You know, quantum this, quantum that... Well, I am not disappointed. Not only was Perfect Path extremely generous in what they included with my order, but the E-Mats and the cards seem to work just as well as the positive reviews here have been saying. I have only had them installed for 2 hours. I know they need time, but they do still work instantly as well! Just experimenting, I placed 9 of the cards on to glass top of my Synergistic Research PowerCell SE (the one where they say "never place anything on the glass top of the unit" haha). Instant gratification! I was not prepared for that kind of improvement. It's similar to night-time listening, but in the daytime. You don't seem to get all of that finesse that you do get after midnight, but you do get some of it, and all of the focus and the increased dynamics. Sounds popping out of nowhere totally in your face. I'm going to experiment a lot more, but for now, it's obvious that these things work, and their effect is extremely positive. I use Synergistic Research power conditioning and Active Ground Block, Galileo SX cables everywhere, Moon 810LP phono, Kuzma Stabi M tt and 4-Point 9 arm, all PrimaLuna amps. |
I suggest that the Omega E-Mats and my other power filtering considerations such as my Bryston BIT 20 isolation transformer work mostly on the last mile type of power pollution, those emanating from the equipment themselves. I'm hoping that the GATE is a huge success too. The dozen Omega E-Mats certainly are for my audio and video systems. |
How is price determined? Not sure, but consider this: You cannot spend your way past noisy AC. Add in more expensive amps, players, tables, cables and you still will not defeat the distortion and noise inherent in a dirty energy supply. It must be addressed. When it is, a much more modest system in cost will be rewarding. Even when I thought I had taken out AC noise and sags, my perception of that was changed after adding in Omega E mats. The noise we live with is all-encompassing. So, what it's worth to have another product that will solve a fundamental problem? |
Like many others in this hobby, my purpose in pursuing it is to bring the amazing experience I have listening to live musical events into the comfort of my home, through recordings. To enjoy musical events that would be difficult, or impossible, for me to experience in person. After extensively treating my system with TC, Omega Mats, and Alpha Cards, I have been able to get much closer to that goal than I ever dreamed possible, especially with the relatively modest equipment I own. Listening to music is now a very different, much more involving, enjoyable, and relaxing, experience than when I started down this road with my first TC treatment. I just wanted to thank Tim for his years of hard work and persistence in making this possible. |
Good morning, music lovers! <3 The game is going to change <3 Everything known about clean AC power <3 Is going to get Turned On It's HEAD! <3 <3 <3 <3 The Gate will be available for sale in the next few days. <3 <3 Timmy's been hard at work. <3 Stay tuned.... details and a new thread coming soon. <3 ;) This will be exciting. <3 Love, Krissy =^.^= |

^^^ sbayne It is really heartening to see that you're enjoying these products. I find that the higher in resolution my system goes, the better these products perform. It seems to be true of all tweaks ... both in positive and negative results. So far, the PPT products have all had a positive effect. Dramatic, really. My system certainly isn't "mid-fi" by any means. I'd say at this point, to duplicate it, it would cost upwards of 70k plus. It certainly wouldn't compete with the mega-expensive systems we hear at shows as far as price. However, thanks to Tim Mrock and his PPT products, at this point, it is doing things that I have NEVER heard in other systems no matter the price paid. And I'm talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars. The mega-expensive systems play louder, bigger and wider, but I can honestly say that at this point there is a profound clarity coming through my ARC gear and the Legacy Signature III's that must be heard to be believed. This clarity has been attained while preserving the natural tones of instruments and voices. The system is totally seamless at this point. Nothing but the music comes through. No hash. No grain, just music and those performing it. Amazing. Stay tuned, more goodies on the way. :-) Frank |
