I say that because there's already been enough dishonesty, no, not by you.
Mitigating the Bubble
Today after many years of trials and tribulations I have mitigated a sonic aberration a horizontal phase anomaly in my center stage. While the center image was always stable and outlined it seemed narrow and bubble like and I would need to shift my body angle to really lock in the image. This was obvious on many CDs and LPs .
I have many man made fixes that helped the situation but never a total cure. Some of these are now permanent fixtures on the ceiling in 2 different locations. I made my own acoustic panels filled with long hair sheep's wool and 3 Argent Room Lenses. I have laminar flow lenses that focus and stabilize the image across the front stage. I have built and treated an acoustic fan that overcomes the boundaries with in my room by reducing interference. I have loaded my speaker cabinets 3 times with new drivers and now an outboard crossover. This was after my Essence 30s speakers and my Dunlavy SC4s. ..All my components are hard mounted and direct coupled to the floor...on rock solid racks and speaker stands, custom mono bloc amps each on their own stand. All of these devices and angles and positions made the image wider and more focused but I still had that little bubble and shift before me. Always less annoying with each new device and tweak.
So, your probably saying to yourself hurry up and get to the end. The end finally arrived today after having applied a contact enhancer 7 days ago to just 6 RCA ends out of many connections in my system. Today with a friend who has been here a hundred times sitting in the Chair playing the same music as usual he said there was a wider sweet spot. I despise that term but he said it and not me.What we both heard was a super stable center image that was a few feet wide and not just one. The bubble was gone. The head in the vise was gone. Off came the straight jacket and helmet. What I have now in this space intime is a glorious fully extended soundstage with all the meat on the bones and the features of talking heads on a real live performance stage.
I have probably used eight different contact enhancers over five decades but this one blows my mind. This product Nano Flo is the ultimate in transparency.

So, let me get this straight; Krissy, formerly of Perfect Path, was involved in the introduction of this product and went so far as to purchase samples to give to others for free, assumably because she either felt or had an agreement with the maker that she would be part of this venture. And then she was summarily kicked to the curb by this Chris person. Is this correct? What was the reason? |
There is an Australian word, which is also a word in US (english)… that is rarely uttered in mixed company to describe a person that exhibits that behaviour. I believe it begins with a “C”.
Often prefixed with “Entitled”, “Mongrel” or other modifiers to denote the level, magnitude, or quality. |
Incoming questions from all sides. Last first..Yes clean off all the pretreated areas before you apply a new material. And yes, I think Krissy was taken advantage of because of her good nature and engaging personality and her kind relationship with many of us on Audiogon. That man used her as a market resource to actually test the product and to test its market acceptance in the audio field. Before he went full bore with the ramp up to production product rate. After the market reception he made the decision that she was no longer needed.... because of all the public statements made by me and all of you...He can just copy and paste the glowing words into his own lingo and print copy. A transverse wave is a shear wave and common to all EM waves which are the start of all thing's audio. The the outer wound filaments are wound around a solid core. So, whether it is a solid core or twisted pairs or even Litz the wave starts as a transverse wave. Now if the treatment of the wire with a nano conductive material makes for an audible difference on a vibrating string, I don't know first-hand. It very well could make for an improvement in the conductive surface area by filling in the material voids reducing friction and building a smoother highway. The shear component would affect the attack and decay of the material and the resulting sound would be affected. Less friction between strands or wire rubbing together and kind of banging around at each other which generates more shear. Also less friction could also make for a longer lasting string. Some cello sets cost up to $290.00 and last up to 6 months if they are played hours a day.. What I do know first hand is this nano treatment makes an audible difference on all my contacts and wire which all work on the same EM principles. Electromagnetic waves are transverse waves. That means the electric and magnetic fields change (oscillate) in a plane that is perpendicular to the direction of propagation of the wave. And so the sound from your speaker starts as a EM wave. Transverse WAVE. Shear Wave as it travels the tensile leads to the voice coil and making the cone motion become a compression wave. But that motion also has a shear component to it..and part of that shear wave can create interference, more shear upon collision with other waves and other solids. WE hear these collisions of shear because the air comes in contacts with these solid surfaces in motion...We hear these improvements, a reduction in shear collisions as a sound as less confused and with greater continuity and purity ...Cleaner more transparent less noise. Add your own adjectives. Hear. Tom

May I please publicly acknowledge and commend the tone and content of your posts. In each post, you have been patient, kind and constructive. Kudos to you as you are a gentleman. While I have never used anything beyond deoxit years ago, you have been forthright in your stated goals as I see it. Now, to your paragraph about how Krissy was treated, incidentally whom I’ve never met, I appreciate you writing briefly about the apparent chronology as you see it based on the information you have at hand.
I am appalled but not surprised that people do this to another. Since I have never had business dealings with her, I can only speak to how this episode appears to have gone down. Its none of my (our) business what Chris @nano-flo chooses to do with their business but it IS our right to vote with our feet/checkbooks. I would not do business with someone who treated another in this manner. At a minimum, there should be compensation YESTERDAY to Krissy for her time and materials to date. Its cool to want to go in another direction, its not cool to ask someone who has worked hard to establish a niche to be used and discarded for personal gain. She appears to have been used to perform the proof of concept at her expense and then discarded. If someone does choose to purchase from Nano-flo, do so with the knowledge that money back guarantees are only as good as the word of the person making the promise. Additionally, the only presence Chris has on Audiogon has been established this month on this thread. If someone does do business with Nano-flo, I hope the Audiogon community remains very careful around any individual who joins the community for the sole and instantaneous marketing of a product for profit who treats others in this manner and has thus far been unwilling to back up promises with proof.
Krissy, we don’t know one another but I’m sorry when anyone is treated as you apparently have been. Best wishes to you. Tom, best wishes to you as well. Chris, you may have gotten out over your skis a bit too far. Its lonely at the top, its lonelier at the bottom and lubing a bridge doesn’t make you an audio manufacturer worthy of support. I, for one, pray for your continued silence in every way. |
All of us who have dealt with Krissy have a lot of praise for her. Are you are telling us that this Chris, who I will not even bother to give my opinion on for fear of getting the moderators on me, is the individual who used her not just originally when her significant other died but again now? I don't understand what you get out of helping this guy here? Do you believe that the increase in sound quality from this product (if any) is worth just ignoring that the purchase is from someone who screwed over Krissy twice????? |
I started this thread the nite before the business relationship fell apart. I was somewhat hopeful that the relationship would be self healing and the product would again be available to the public and be beneficial for the lady.. I was wrong and now wish I had the thread pulled and still may do so. Tom |
A sincere message from a forthright person. Thank you Tom.
On another topic, unless someone has explicitly agreed to have their words used for marketing purposes, they may withdraw permission to do so. So, if you are uncomfortable having a testimonial quoted on someone's website where they are seeking material gain you may withdraw permission by doing so in writing. As I have stated, I have not tried any of the products in this thread. I would however, given the turn of events, be willing to donate to a gofundme or similar to assist Krissy in retaining appropriate counsel or at least replenishing her finances that came about as a result of this unfortunate episode. She performed work and dedicated resources with the implication of a business relationship being in place. Evidence of the implied structure is probably contained in emails and texts.
In the past, I have retained an attorney for the sole purpose of ensuring that if someone didnt live up their commitments and pay amounts that were due and payable that they would at least need to spend the money they "liberated" on their own lawyers. I am far from litigious, I'm just intolerant of bullies. |
From my personal interactions with Krissy, I found her to be both a kind and generous soul with a good heart. There are unscrupulous individuals who take advantage of such gentle souls, both personally and business wise. I think it’s no secret who one of them is. And I am certain he is still reading this thread. Are you proud of yourself? Such a small man you are to do the thing you did. I take it back. You’re not a small man. You’re no man at all. In my world integrity counts. And he won't be counting a penny of my money. |
@theaudiotweak you are truthful in that matter ^^^. Note: he even ripped off the term "Perfect Path"
|
When he wrote, "It's the Perfect Path to Audio Performance!" and capitalized the words, he did use the Perfect Path name in an underhanded intent. With the claim of a "food grade" base, it would have to be a mineral oil used on cutting boards or a vegetable oil, neither of which would be around for long on the metal. His claim of nano particles being forced by pressure into pits, etc, is dubious. With TC, the paste filled in the pits and voids left by the imperfectly round pins and barrels that make up RCA and XLR connections. TC was like a cold solder joint that remained soft and did not dissipate over time. As for it allegedly having had a toxic base, 'just don't eat it' was the common-sense advice. Those who have heard instant improvements with nano will have to decide if it holds up over more than months or a year, and without an accompanying, detailed description, that power cord is a grift job, IMO.

As a customer of Nanoflo allow me to share some light on the subject from my experience. I dealt with the lady in question, (not mentioning any names due to moderator aspect), who contacted me via a nanoflo.com email address. I subsequently purchased Nanoflo via Paypal. Due to being supplied the wrong tracking number by the lady concerned I could never see the product shipped. After several attempts to resolve this she eventually stopped emailing me. I learned from here last Saturday the product was 'no more' and entered the thread to try to get a refund. At that point I checked my Paypal account and my payment had been requested by and went to Perfect Path Solutions, which surprized me as I knew that was related to her old company. I did receive a refund from the lady, after she asked me to remove her personal information from the thread. On Sunday night I received an email from Chris telling me that the lady was supposed to supply him with the names of customers and that he had only received first names, no surnames. Additionally he did not know I was a customer as no info on me was supplied to him. He discovered my details from the lady email address account attached to his Nanoflo product. He has been helpful in answering my queries subsequently. I'll allow members to make their own judgements on my experience.

He said, she said, this could go around forever. |
I have been following this thread for the last week. Often read Audiogon over the years. Never felt the need to post, but this is just too good of an opportunity. Did it ever occur to even one of you that Diamond is not a electrical conductor. It is an electrical insulator. Not just an insulator, but a very good insulator. Even in small spherical sizes. |
I would have real doubts about a nano scale diamond ball lubricant too. Diamond can be an excellent low friction surface, when both surfaces are coated with diamond. Things won't "roll" on nanoscale diamond balls. The balls would just dig into the surface. I have to say, I loved some of the stuff from his website. The mechanics, and other mechanically inclined people may find some humor:
That's some amazing breaking of the laws for thermodynamics. But wait
Does anyone want to tell the creator of this story what the wheelie bar is for? Of course, you have to feel for the misunderstood inventor (emphasis mine)
But strange, all these first hand accounts, but never a few bucks paid for ASTM-D6425 testing (or similar) a common process for high pressure lubricants. I do love the chutzpah of the price list, a few extracted here ...
Of course, with a product that will take your SEMI from 5 to 8.5 MPG (no, really they make that claim), the prices seem like a bargain.

Something just tells me this guy is here because he sees easy marks ... https://ecomodder.com/forum/showthread.php/diamond-lube-22446.html |
I know what you manufacture, and it is not electrical conductive diamond nanospheres. What part of DIAMOND IS NOT CONDUCTIVE was difficult to understand? How easy do you think people are to bamboozle here?
This posts below is just disgusting behavior. You really should be ashamed, but I would say comments like this border on getting yourself into legal troubles.

@rixthetrick Yes, it was when Krissy tried to talk Chris (nano-flo) out of trying to sell a cheap generic mass produced power cord... My entrance into audio was to provide the best audio quality under a series of agreements, the first stipulation was absolute secrecy, especially of my involvement and critically of keeping trade secrets. Mr Carbon demanding to take over my business was the final straw in a series of breaches, which is when I pulled the enhancer. Breaches started when Tom called me. Tom is an old customer of QuantumCoat however the "distributor" told him I was behind this new product, and my phone number was pulled last year when I took a different path. All samples were provided to Audiogon members for free, by me. All product was provided with zero upfront fees on a 50/50 basis (what a horribly greedy thing to do), and according to my records that split was not enough for someone. Thats really all I can say about it, however the product itself has been reviewed and accepted by those that either purchased it or got a free test sample. There is a question of how the gel pulls zero ohms but enhances electrical flow like a room temperature superconductor as others (not me) have said, but this is also a new product. The technology not only increases audio quality, it performs unexpectedly well applied to the insulated surfaces and I have no idea why, however lab time may reveal the "what's happening" but not why right now. Sorry if I kill business for the cable and fuse guys, but I'll use my own inventions in everything I produce, and I give guarantees - do they? Attack to defend... Chris |
This reminds me of when I was a kid, fighting with siblings in the back seat of the car. My father would pull over the car and everyone got a whipping. I asked why because (of course) I didn’t start it and he said " I’m not going to waste my time trying to figure out which one of you were in the right and which were in the wrong".
In this case, as in most cases, buy what you want from who you want but an extra measure of caution is in order. I’m out but I was likely never a candidate...but Chris can lube the drawbridge out front. |
@deludedaudiophile "How easy do you think people are to bamboozle here“ is almost correct, however The New Kid on the Block (me) never said anything like that. but I will not say which Audiogon member did say it. This person also said other things about specific members, that people just shouldn’t say about their customers.. To those interested in audio enhancements like @whostolethebatmobile if you start out with detonation nanodiamond you’ll soon discover its a great insulator. Now when you ask the Japanese supplier about Type 2B (IIB) availability they will most likely ask you were they can get some. I don’t sell mine anymore, so... Another slice of the formula is nanogold, and the only thing close costs $80,000 per gram, I wish you good luck from there. Sure you can get what’s advertised as pure nanogold for as low as $360 per gram, but its not really nano when you go through the specs, and you should also run it under SEM for sizing. I hope that clarifies everything and remember, you can just buy NanoFlo contact enhancer, soon as I re-introduce it plus get an AUDIOGON discount if you are in good standing with NanoFlo. I’m looking forward to my meeting with Josh to begin advertising here. Chris (Mr. NanoFlo) |
I don't want you to leave, and if you go to the contact form on webpage or message your address privately I will send you the only .1ml sample I'm that I'm prepared give out, once the batch finishes blending sometime next week. I promise, it will be up to you to tell anyone if or what happens without me pissing about your answer. If you are as unimpressed as everyone that didn't try it yet, I hope you shout it out for everyone on AUDIOGON, and I'll even pay the shipping. Chris |
Who am I? It is really unimportant, I am just a rather intelligent guy with a materials science background who can tell you are making it up as you go. I can also tell when someone is bamboozling, like where you say, "Some people claim it is like a room temperature superconductor", and claim there could be validity to that (there isn't), but then you put out something like this which clearly you don't understand and is contradictory,
Type II-B occurs naturally, but that is rather meaningless as we grow II-B all the time as diffusing boron in diamond, just like some other materials, turns it into a semiconductor. However, semiconductors are very poor conductors unless they have an appropriate fields, and then there is the issue of the band-gap. The band gap for II-B boron infused diamond if 5.5ev, which is very high. That means virtually no semiconductor action, hence no conductivity at a metal-metal I/F of connectors where the voltage differential is in the millivolts. You have obviously picked up some stuff along the way like all good "promoters" but you are lacking the underlying knowledge that goes with the words and terms you are using. However, this is all quite meaningless babble. If it increases conductivity, it can be proven in about 15 seconds with a simple test.So where is the test and please no excuses. There are no trade secrets revealed from test results. Oh, if I want II-B boron diffused diamond, I could make my own, I have access to CVD equipment. Nano particle gold, also dead simple to access and I even have contacts who have a patent on a process that does not use certain nasty chemicals. Nano particle gold underpins a very high volume very important medical device ... It clarifies that you are making it up as you go, that's okay, I have been working on my side a long time and have seen many a claim come and go, most from actual material scientists. I am looking forward to your entertaining us with what your cable does "better". |

When this article landed on my phone 3 years back, I sent it to Tim (perfect path) as I knew he was always in search of new materials. In search of graphene and a base carrier was how we hooked up. He was coming out soon with TC and we talked about his product, but I never knew what the components were. I think he freaked out when I sent him this article, not sure why. Boron was not part of his chemistry. Sorry, graphene—borophene is the new wonder material that’s got everyone excited | MIT Technology Review. I have used this material blended with a few others as an acoustic enhancement applied to areas of my system and audio room. It has a very powerful effect and when first applied and listened to while it was still under cure it is like a sonic blast in the room. Scared the crap out of me...I was afraid I wouldn't find a method to remove the materials. Fortunately, the sound settled down after a few days and back to a new and better normal. I found Chris's number in an email I sent him in 2019 inquiring about diamond lube to use in my Linn Lp12. I haven't spoken to or texted back to him since the end of this March. Tom |
Are you claiming that you both sourced and used Borophene? Please tell me that is not what you are claiming @theaudiotweak
