Not too far… About 3 months ago I order a pair of Legacy speakers, At that moment I ask about the prices in the future ( a few months, like my birthday in October or end of the year) I was interested in the surrounds speakers. I said, we already update our prices May 31 st. Regular price was $3000.00. After a few days not even a week, just changed to $4950.00. I called right away and He said, nothing I can do. I tried different place, I found the old price, placerd the order, they took my money, and after 3-4 days they cancel the transaction. Saying they don’t have the product at that moment.
Why the cost increase?
I went to buy materials for a speaker project. I also priced some T-111 siding on 8" centers, 5/8 thick, Ship lap.
I hadn’t picked up any sheets or anything in over 18 months.
48" x 96 x 5/8 wood siding was 19-26.00 and on sale 15-20.00 per sheet, NOW 74-84.00 per sheet.

Man people toss around trillions like it no big thing. If I started counting out loud I couldn’t get to a billion before the end of my life. Ah what the heck. They just reinstated a fire chiefs pension in Danville CA to over 20,500.00 per month. They had reduced it to 14,000.00 because of the way he stacked his last years. One court representing the actual workers sued to have it reduced (his co workers) and won in a lower court. Only to be overturned in a higher court with back pay to the tune of 1.5 million dollars. The real kicker his retirement is greater than the salary he made when he was working full time.. PRISON!!! and whoever supports this type of thieving from the people.. Absolutely NUT In Danville CA. The worst thing to ever happen was the hills would catch fire and that would wedged in the cattle. They new where to go in the basins where there was no grass.. 250,000.00 a YEAR plus benefits.. For a fire chief in a COW TOWN converted to yippyville when the sprawl started.. When I was a kid You couldn’t give that land away.. 2 million an acre now in some places.. 20,000,000. For a 5 acre hobby farm.. BROKE doesn’t even get close to what’s wrong it’s not REDS or the BLUES.. IT’S BOTH.. No concept of DEBT.. NONE.. ZERO... They ALL spend like there is no consequence. Raise the debt Ceiling.. NO LOWER IT NOW. Spend less than what you bring in.. Period. AND put people like this idiot who screwed EVERYONE he could, everyway he could, in a GD prison, forever along with the Judge and the lawyers that overturned the lower court decision. Every month the spending exceeds the GDP, how is that ok? They're raising the limit. Not reducing the spending and paying OFF the interest. I had to turn on the O2 machine after that one.. Bogart the O2 machine.. LOL. 51 hours in the hospital.. 81,000.00 dollars.. Last year at this time I got the bill.. AFTER coming home and having 16 more heart attacks behind a hard clot they missed.. 12k more BTW. ALL behind a bruised thigh.. I’ll bet money it’s 110k now. Not a worker ONE getting paid a dime more.. My insurance paid all but 117.00 of a 7k ride to the hospital. Sure great people though.. God sent those Nurses, X-Ray techs and Doctors. In any other advanced nation (and there are MANY), you wouldn’t have paid a dime more than what you’d pay through your taxes and some small copay for all the treatment you needed, if that. Check out Moore’s old documentary, Sicko and your blood pressure will rise enough to get you readmitted. In one scene, a guy cut off his ring and middle finger with a table saw. $60,000 to reattach his middle finger and $12,000 for his ring finger. He chose his ring finger. Moore then asked another doctor (I believe it was either in Canada or Germany) how much they would charge. The look on the doctor’s face was priceless. Healthy people needing to pay extra for the obese, people who smoke, people who don't take care of themselves, etc. Waiting forever to get a procedure done, waiting forever an emergency room, reaching a certain age to where you're no longer needed in the community so your medical procedures aren't as important as others. Good lord health care cost just like taxes, Highest in the world. 320 million people @ 5 times the cost of any other country.. And you would think an Advil was a dime bag of heroin. And any pain killer was made by the devil. The only "problem" with universal health care is that it covers everyone and lots of people are simply against that idea. They don't want certain people to be covered and are willing to take a big hit on their own well being just for the sake of denying others a better life. What is this fascination people have with wanting to federalize everything in this country? The founding fathers wanted LIMITED government. They saw what failed around the world and they had a different idea for this nation. I just don’t understand why people want more government involvement and control in their lives. We need to preserve our freedoms and liberties. Clear Channel (now iHeartRadio) owns 1,207 radio stations reaching 201 out of 287 markets and they decide what gets air time and it's not according to ratings and ad revenues. They run practically all the right wing shock jocks even when they lose money on it. That's called domination of a market. Dissenting voices from the mainstream are stifled across the country. There are states where you cannot hear anything but right wing hate radio. One must go to satellite or the internet to get an honest broker to listen to. Cable TV is another can-o-worms due to reach and variety they offer so that's another story. The one thing you have to understand is you are not what I'd call a conservative. The only platforms being censored, demonetized and/or de-platformed are the ones spewing hate, promoting violence, and lying their pants off, which seems to be the ones you're supportive of which is why I say there's no way in heck you're a true conservative. You're just occupying the space vacated by the real conservatives who refused to go along any more with the madness. Real conservatives are still there warning us of what's to come.
