Why the cost increase?

I went to buy materials for a speaker project. I also priced some T-111 siding on 8" centers, 5/8 thick, Ship lap.
I hadn’t picked up any sheets or anything in over 18 months.

48" x 96 x 5/8 wood siding was 19-26.00 and on sale 15-20.00 per sheet, NOW 74-84.00 per sheet.

MDF 3/4" 48 x 96" if you can find it. 45-55.00 per sheet it was 22.00 to 27.00 per sheet.

2x4x8 DF stud grade 1.99-3.00 per. Now 4-6.00 per stud,

There is no shortage but there sure is a LOT of price gouging. NOTHING changed. Just the price..

The quality is worse. The workers aren’t paid worth a crap...Why the increase?

I’m getting ready to finish my home out. WOW.. I might have to rethink this a bit..

The price all most tripled in 12-18 months.. This kind of stuff is NOT cool at ALL.

Just my opinion of course. Any projects you’re doing get put on hold or STOPED?

YES I’m very frugal. Money never came easy, and it leaves the same way..

Videos of Republican poll watchers being kicked out of polling places.
Videos of briefcases hidden under tables being taken out, opened and put through machines over and over.
A certain candidate up by 700,000 votes and then when polling place is opened again that same candidate was mysteriously down 100,000 votes in a couple of hours.
In some states they were more votes cast than eligible voters.
Something like 74,000 fraudulent votes in Arizona and the margin of victory was less than 20,000.
Recorded video proof of votes for both candidates shown on screen then changing in real time to favor the other candidate.

We are living in a nightmare where any difference of opinion is considered hate speech. However, if your hate speech coincides with a certain party, then that's allowed.

Healthy people needing to pay extra for the obese, people who smoke, people who don't take care of themselves, etc.

Waiting forever to get a procedure done, waiting forever an emergency room, reaching a certain age to where you're no longer needed in the community so your medical procedures aren't as important as others.

There's no competition for lowest prices in the healthcare industry so everyone pays an exorbitant amount.

Oh yeah, sign me up.

What is this fascination people have with wanting to federalize everything in this country? The founding fathers wanted LIMITED government. They saw what failed around the world and they had a different idea for this nation.
I just don’t understand why people want more government involvement and control in their lives.
With every step we take in that direction, it is one step closer to socialism/communism.

Like someone said earlier, the government can’t run anything right.

We need to preserve our freedoms and liberties. Preserve every individual’s independence and not let our constitutional rights be taken from us or else that document will be a relic in a museum one day, showing kids what was once the law of the land generations ago.
