Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Rick Wakeman: Journey To The Center Of The Earth. Crank it up!

ELP: Tarkus. Totally jammin!

I guess today is my old keyboard music day.

Luciano Pavarotti-Songbook(CD London 433-513-2 1991) Friday night vinyl starts with an extremely high standard to maintain.

@limomangus

Diamonds & Rust

In my estimation, that is a far better song than anything he deserves.  Elsewhere, she's been quoted as calling him a little toad.  I suspect that's apt despite liking Dylan's music a lot!.

For @nutty

Joe Satriani Black Swans & Wormhole Wizards

Track 2 - Dream Song

Track 4 - Lightyears Away

Crank it up!

As someone once said about Led Zeppelin (I'll plagiarize and adapt here).....

"I don't often listen to Joe Satriani but when I do, the neighbors listen too."

Remake with really good sound quality.  The original ain’t too shabby either.

The Snow Goose 2013

It is an excellent story-telling (2) part series.

Happy Listening!

@jafant Thanks for the tip!  I watched the documentary last week. I agree, a must see for Billy Joel fans.

Ritchie Kotzen has a unique and infectious tone.  A fat, warm, and dynamic sound,  soulful and expressive. I have his 50 for 50, (among others) which is loaded with great tunes.  I also like his work with The Winery Dogs and Mr. Big.

Jacintha-Lush Life(JVC-XRCD2 2001)

McLaughlin/DI Meola//DE Lucia-Passion/Fire & Grace(Sony/JVC K2 CD1983/2014) Sunday night vinyl is off to a very high standard regarding content and SQ.

Deep Purple - Made in Japan.  The Steve Wilson remix just released.  Does the guy ever sleep?  Sounds better than ever.  I remember asking my Dad to buy me the album back in the day.  Space Trucking was an entire side.  Those were the days.
