Uber still in Nirvana or you got any fatigue yet ? Tell me you have an SPL meter to level match ????? ha...three beers aint a meter, it might be a cure tho...
@big_greg  - Good idea! I'm now spinning - Tracy Chapman - S/T

Probably haven't listened to it in a couple of years. It's a great album.
Tomic
No fatigue.
Still grinning and spinning!

The only level meter I have is when the frosty one pokes her head around my door then I know it was too loud......
Speaking of Now ... Pat Metheny Group.

Reubent.

Yes actually having a lot of fun breaking in new speakers and cartridge.
Both immensely satisfying.

It's hard to ignore what's going on out there but no point in worrying myself sick over it.
Reuben, I hadn't listened to it in a while either. I heard her on radio paradise this morning and thought I needed to give that a spin.
Uber,

SON one of my favorites.  First album with Sanchez in the group.  ‘On Her Way’ might be the most purely uplifting music I’ve ever heard.
uber how are you enjoying the new speakers versus old?

I would predict better dynamics that makes music like Deep Purple more engaging.
Thanks @spiritofradio Good stuff. By the way, I watched the documentary, Miles Davis: The birth of Cool last night. Check it out on Netflix.
The World of Cat Stevens
Original Decca UK recording.

Mapman.
These Spatials are really working out well in my system driven by my BAT tube integrated amp.
A lot more dynamic, propulsive, engaging and highly detailed top to bottom.

Makes everything more enjoyable.
Sounds good uber. Enjoy!

I'm a big Spatial fan from the one time I've heard them.

Spirit.

Yes the SON album sounded really nice late last night( well late for me at least, lol ).

First time playing it, will get repeat play for sure.
Steeleye Span 'Hark! the Village Wait' - Maddy Prior and Gay Woods, wish they'd kept this two female vocalist lineup.Perhaps my fav SS.

Eddie Henderson 'Sunburst'
@tomic601

do you mean the one Neil Young did called Deja vu?  Or is there something more recent?

a documentary I really enjoyed awhile back:

Spirit; Fifty by Four is the title. I think we watched it on Amazon.the war department is in charge of the TV remote.....
Romance Dance .... Kim Carne's.

A friend loaned me an Ortofon Black Cadenza to try out.
It's a real detail retrieval beaver for sure!
Uber - nice buddy to loan you a black - my brother has the Black MC on a Saphire/Jelco into a tube project into arc SP-15 into Threshold into Vandy 3a Signature... in N Palm beach - if he cranks it up you might be able to hear it
Tomic
Yes he is, he posts here often too.

When he came round to align my Karat correctly ( he has all the tools and ears) he brought the Black and aligned that too and left it for me to try.

Very appreciative!

Its sounding mighty fine tonight Steve.

Freedom is for Children is mind blowing.

The Spatials are singing beautiful music to my ears.
Onzy Matthews ‎- Blues With A Touch Of Elegance (Capitol 1964)

Louis Armstrong And The All Stars ‎- Louis And The Good Book (Decca 1958)
Gilbert & Sullivan, D'Oyly Carte Opera Company ‎- H.M.S. Pinafore (London 1971)

More fun than it sounds.
Mary Martin, Cyril Ritchard ‎- Peter Pan, Original Cast Recording (RCA Victor 1964)

There is an IMO excellent article in The New Yorker:

My Obsession with Desert Island Discs

i had no idea it ( the BBC show ) dated to 1942. There are some 2k archived - some as podcasts....
Herbie Mann ... Glory of Love

Kiseki Purpleheart is now is rotation and sounding sweet.
