Had to step away for a while, due the other side starting a business as well as having issues with her mom. The mother is back down south, whew. So back in the groove, I got an email at noon that I didn't open till 3 same day from Dead.net announcing Dicks picks #36, with a 1500 limited run, sold out by 3 pm. Look around with no luck except fleabag at 2x the price. A week later I stop by my LRC , my man has a copy for me! He ordered from 4 different guys and got all! I ended up with#46/1500 |

Alison Krauss and Robert Plant Raising Sand
@Slaw I’m guessing T Bone Burnett had an influence on the low end density, I don’t see Alison requesting more bass, maybe Robert given his probability for low hearing sensitivity.... |

Track 3 on the first side, Uncle Sam Blues, has what must be a shot glass being broken during the song. I mixed some local shows with Jorma and a mandolin player Barry, Jorma told me they still get many broken shot glasses when they play that tune, that was 2005 I believe |
No, the one I am referring to is the live at the New Orleans House, Berkeley, released in 1970. I thought this was their first release but I could be mistaken. I saw them in 1975 they played a long , loud set, Journey without Steve Perry opened, they were way different without him |
