Big_Greg -- Savoy's 'A Raw Sienna' another of the better Savoy Brown albums imo.
'Looking In' was the last Savoy album before most of the band split off to form Foghat.
1970, sophmore year in high school, went to The Electric Factory in Philly to see Savoy Brown ... the opening act was Pink Floyd! Talk about  one band on the way up and another on the way down.

@Uberwaltz - I acknowlege Pentangle, I'm not worthy! Must have 20 Pentange/John Renbourn Group/Bert Janch lp's. Renbourn's guitar sylings, Jacqi McShee's voice so angelic..

True story, was at a John Renbourn Group concert, late 1980's, some church on Univ of Penn's campus, taking a pee. Who comes out of the stall but John Renbourn. Given the circumstances, I played it cool but let him know I was a big fan. But not of the stench he made..
Eddie Henderson 'Realization' funky, spacey jazzey
Brian Auger's Oblivion Express' second wind' is this his only goodie?

@slaw - wer're good appreciate you too
@slaw - good to hear your're digging 'all that';, ultimately the music is what really matters  imo.. Familiar with 'miles from my home' ?, nother favorite o mine. Song 'Hollow as a bone;' haunts my mental song playback.
peace/out

@slaw -

Picked up the re-mastered heavyweight vinyl of The Trinity session - an album known for its SQ at the same show. IMO the production on ATR is just as good, played them back to back. Fresh sonic memory of the show an Margo's voice too to compare. Anywave, that's what I hear on my rig.

Cowboy Junkies 'all that reckoning' their most recent, stellar recording, side 2 slays me, side one good too. Saw them for the first time last weekend and picked this up at the show. very glad I did.

David Torn 'Clouds about Mercury' ECM recording
Also saw Nektar last Saturday in Baltimore, they're touring in support of this new album 'the other side' which is a tribute of sorts to members who have passed to the other side. light show and all, terrific concert.and the merch table had colored vinyl for  sale, most all of their back catalog
King Crimson 'in the wake of poseidon'  200 gram super heavyweight vinyl version
Nektar' 'the other side' their new double lp , perhaps their shining star? recording wise and content wise.
