Received these today,

Barrabas "S/T"  sealed/pp/Atco/1974
Laura Veirs "The Lookout"

@uberwaltz,

FWIW, once you get your system dialed in, an inexpensive/good phono cable will suffice.Think about it. My VPI is sounding so great with two different, under three hundred $ phono cables. This VPI was rated an A Stereophile.
That was prior to my getting the S2P corrected. Wow!
@tomic601 ,

This FM box set sounds great! I seriously doubt one could find originals sounding any better.
Michael Nesmith "Pretty Much Your Standard Ranch Stash"  pp/Pacific Arts/RCA 1973
Traffic "The Studio Albums" 67 - 74  Box set

"Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys"
@boxer12,

I know you've got a lot going on..... when the dust settles,,,,try two MyMats with no ring, no clamp, no weight.
The Cars "Heartbeat City" ..no clamp, no weight, no ring,..not a damn thing

Just two MyMats
This configuration confirms my theory of decoupling from the tt bearing.

really enjoying, check it out!

Side two starts out dynamically...however it isn't a wide soundstage. Mostly everything is centered.
The piano hasn't wavered once. I credit this to the recently installed SOTA system
I've been working on my Aimee Mann lps from MFSL over the last two days. These, for some reason had lots of surface noise.

After multiple steamings/US cleanings, I got the noise reduced substantially. I can put my mind at ease now.
Listening to "West". Lucinda has one of The best 'female revenge' songs in "Come On"!  I've heard this song many a time but not until now did the lyrics hit me in the gut. I think it's largely due to the new-found resolution of my system.
I wasn't prepared to do so, but I could've compared the MFSL vs the UK box on this title. Frankly, Hard Days Night is one of my favorite Beatles lps.
Hole "Live Through This" original German pressing. No matter what one may think of her, she had talent.
The Keith Richards live set is surprisingly clear ( for a live lp) and has great SQ. A little hot.
Amos Lee "S/T". Classic Records pressed way off center, I corrected it. SQ=EX
The Flaming Lips "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" German pressing/red vinyl. Amazing!
Actually, take a look at the Funk Firm site. They seem to have addressed past issues.
There’s been some talk about Beth Hart recently..check out

"Better Than Home"  on now
