If you don’t love this too you are dead to me.

Uh-oh... I've never even heard of it.

@slaw I loved Hole. Not so much for their music but for the live performances. You never knew what you were going to get out of Courtney. I saw them three different times and every show was completely different.
Judas Priest - Rocka Rolla. It's on a purple splatter vinyl, and unlike how some colored vinyl can sound, the sound quality is excellent.
@spiritofradio Not embarrassed, but it's kind of out of my comfort zone :)  She does have an amazing voice!
I wondered when the safe harbor of this  unique thread might end.

Do you mean the whiner who cries about being bullied and then pops into a thread for no other reason than to bully someone?  Some people can dish it out, but they can't take it.

Joe Walsh - But Seriously Folks...

This was a Japan pressing that I picked up recently.  When I put on side 1 and heard almost no noise and great sound quality I was really excited, but a little disappointed when I got to side 2 (the side with Life's Been Good) and there was noticeably more noise, although still a high VG+, close to NM-.  Apparently that side has been played a lot more than side one.  Still a great listen.
Another copy of Sgt. Pepper.  The first one was the Giles Martin 1/2 speed remastered 50th anniversary edition.  This one is "Taken from 2009 EMI digital remaster".  They sound less different than I thought they might, but I definitely have a preference for the Giles version.
Steve Miller Band - Fly Like An Eagle, MFSL. Everything is sounding wonderful tonight after some minor cartridge adjustments.

Electric Light Orchestra - Out of the Blue.  I picked this up at Half-Price Books for 3 bucks a few years ago.  Sounding great!

Listening to the second disk of the Chris Cornell compilation. I didn't know he did a cover of Billie Jean.
Steve, I bought the VTPH-2A. I'm strongly considering (which means it's only a matter of time) getting the VTSP-360 also.
Elvis Costello - Taking Liberties.  Another 20 song compilation of songs that were released in the UK, but not the US.
Joel, I have a stock Chinook with upgraded tubes (don't ask which ones, it's been a while) and the Herron is a definite upgrade. Not night and day difference, but the Herron is quieter and lets you "see" a little further into the music.
Queen - Greatest Hits, 2 disc Target red marble version. Sounds really good! Better than I expected from a "Target exclusive", although I think it might also be available as a (more expensive) Europe release.

Grateful Dead - American Beauty. Not sure about the provenance of this one. It's in a plain white sleeve with a MFSL number and stamped "sample not for sale". The vinyl has a plain label stamped with JVC. A promo? Test pressing? It sounds fantastic!

I received my replacement disc for Holly Cole - Temptation yesterday. Playing it now.

Bill, at first it was daunting, but I'm making good progress.  I've been putting all my new records into Discogs for the last 3 or 4 years, so I often hit big chunks of records that are already catalogued.  It's also fun to re-listen to things I haven't heard for a while, in some cases, probably not since I first bought them.  I will soon be moving into the Grateful Dead :)

Steve, that's interesting.  I couldn't find what record of hers he played on,  It would be interesting to hear.  According to AllMusic Joe Walsh has 1,732 credits!

Grand Funk - Closer to Home.  This copy isn't as nice as the one I played yesterday.

Jim, I'm not sure how significant it was, but I picked up a pair of Herron M1 monoblocks.
