Nana Mouskouri is the best selling female artist in the world. I haven't read the whole thread so someone may surely have mentioned her. if you are talking about the female singers with the high little girl voices, I have some names I can give you that isn't included in the female jazz singer thread. It isn't everyones cup of tea.

Annie Haslam!

Five+ octave range, near perfect intonation, Great power, control, and dynamics, and loads of emotion.

She was the lead vocalist for British prog band, Renaissance.

Longish tracks, with classical influences, great keyboards, and Annie's vocals floating over it all.

Touching Once

Ashes Are Burning

Annie Haslam of Renaissance … big range, but when called for can hit high notes few mentioned so far could.  Listen to Prologue on Live at Carnegie Hall.

Janita "Jenny " Haan

lead singer of "Babe Ruth"  their debut album is unique and eclectic and kicks butt... Jenny can screech with the best of em

kudos above to blackbag20 for Geddy

Brrr.....brrrr......brrrrr......brrrrrrr      Busy Line

Rose Murphy, and lyrical to boot.

+1 on Sarah Brightman and whoever played Giilda in the Metropoloitan Opera’s recent production of Rigoletto (which was on PBS yesterday afternoon 6/21/22), her duets with the title character were just amazing. I would be interested in listening to your playlist when you’re finished. I’ve been quite struck lately by the power of the female voice when it reaches the upper registers, Sarah Brightman got me started when I listened to her CD ‘Eden.’ Her presence on some tracks was very ‘operatic.’

@blackbag20 if you want high pitched male singers besides Geddy then give a listen to David Surkamp of Pavlov’s Dog fame on the “At the Sound of the Bell” album ha ha!

Allison Krauss may not exactly be considered high pitch but she has great range and her delivery sounds effortless

Don't forget Yma Sumac, whose top register exceeds even Minnie Riperton. Sounds extrahuman -- Peruvian rain forest sounds.

Linda Ronstadt has one of the best overall female voices ever. She can do EVERY kind of music, from rock and traditional American to Broadway to her heritage Mexican.

Find a better and more versatile voice if you can.

Oh, and unlike many "singers" listed here, she can ACTUALLY SING, which, apparently, has nothing to do with either getting a recording contract or being "popular."

Maria Muldaur sold a LOT of Audio Research/Magneplaner speakers for me in the 1970’s with Midnight at the Oasis.

Very helpful, thanks everyone.

I'll add some my daughter had when she was young

Mae Questel...the voice of Betty Boop, Olive Oyl, Little Audrey, Wendy the good witch

T.A.T.U

Believe it or not Ariel Winter from Modern Family (cartoon voice overs)

Jesca Hoop, Sixpence, Hillary Duff, Jewel, Rachel Farris, Janet Jackson, The Bangles,

Kate Wolf would be high on my list.  Any of her albums but “Back Roads” and “Close to You” are my most played

Give Kina Grannis a listen as well.  The “Stairwells” album.

My top vocal jazz artists :

Chantal Chamberland

Chie Ayado

Emi Fujita
