Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.
I listened to Trower songs: Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....
Then I pulled out "Gamma". I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....
Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?
Johnny Lang, Lie To Me Gov’t Mule, High and Mighty Dave Meniketti, On the Blue Side- lovin "Can’t do Nothin’ Right! Gary Moore, Bad for you Baby "Umbrella Man"! Joe Bonamossa, Sloe Gin
Anybody remember these guys? A little band out of Detroit. -The Rockets "No Ballads" (1980) Damn I'm old😧 Very solid album! And not too shabby of a recording😎
Correction on previous post. Actually the album I was listening to was The Rockets - self titled.(1977) "No Ballads" is great but think I like this one a little more 😎 From Detroit but have a little southern twang to them. I would say the Georgia Satellites were probably influenced by these guys
Forest for the trees / I may have mentioned this before but this is a GREAT recording. I think it's the only one they put out. I bit out there (I like that!), but not to far.
The Flower Kings - prog rockers from Sweden. "A Kingdom of Colours II" (box set 2004-2013) basically pt. 2 of their collection.. Audiophile recordings! Everything I have heard from these guys is top notch! They definitely know what they are doing in the studio 😎
Thank you @twoleftears for posting the only Classical entry in the last two pages, and for posting such a good recording. The low end on that piano is impressive. I loved the Beethoven.
