Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Interesting fact I just found at. Deep-Purple.net
After the group reformed in 1984 and 1985 US tour "Smoke on the Water" was their signature  must play song, it was the years biggest grossing tour and claims
Smoke on the Water   to be the second most recognized song in the USA behind the National Anthem. I graduated High School in 1979
l do remember it being a well played song on the radio.  But also
I Remember "Stairway to Heaven" right up there around that time

About that time 1979 Van Halen w David lee Roth is popular
and I appreciate this music now seemingly more than back in the day

loved every minitute

Stonedhedge   1969     LP
RocketFuel      1978     CD

Ghost house- "Gypsy Woman" is not on this LP.  But boy does this recording
come across as some of the best sounding  recording among my entire collection.
Maybe  350 LP and 200 CD.  My LP collection I purchased back in late 70's and into 80's.  Then I got into Cd cuz that was the rage.  80's 90's.  A lot are duplicate CD LP. Same artists.  I now buy more LP as a first choice now
Collection is nearly all classic Rock & Roll

R

It is worth seeing him.  I have seen RT 4 time at the Fillmore West,
last was Sept 2015.  He has been touring here, and the USA every other year for 10 years.or more   He sounds just like his 70 Live albums spot on . Fillmore is festival standing small venue, easily you can stand 4 rows from stage.  He usually plays 2 songs from newest album  then goes into his most classic stuff. Usually plays only at small venue
Like clock work he starts right at 8:30  and is finished exactly at 10:30.
does one oncore set and always finishes with his most Blues song
His latest album fits right in with his earliest stuff  ,Awesome , I played it 4 times last night.
Remember Nutty  YOU started this as a RT- Montrose  Guitar Hero
thread, I cant agree more  My System is still on Solid State HOT
Stand By Mode

R
I love that Montrose.  Bad Motor Scooter

I am lucky enough to have Trower LP and CD collection and a decent playback system.   I like to reference the same album. Say Bridge of Sighs ,compare the tune between the LP.  CD. An coarse of seeing him live
I like the way    RT guitar jumps out at me. Out of my system sounding like the
real show.      I guess a signature sound unique to him
In watching him live. His guitar is an extension of his music mind and visible by his expression on his face.
My take anyway

Other guitar heroes do that.
  Johnny winter
