Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Today is a Sixties day. Beatles, Stones, CCR, Butterfield Blues Band, Jefferson Airplaine…

Just listened to Quesaco? by Paris Combo. Haven't heard from them in a while and missed last years release. Opened the CD to discover that the lead singer Belle du Berry passed away 9 months ago from cancer. She was only 54. Bittersweet listening experience. My all time favorited band to listen to.

All the best,
Nonoise

Lol, and I was thinking like maybe he did the soundtrack for the TV show.😁  What’s even funnier is I have the CD and 10+ of his other albums.

Zero 7 - Simple Things and When It Falls.

Great music for a lounging evening.

Back in my previous life turntable I had several Mannheim Steamroller records. Of the many things I like about Yellowstone is the sound staging

The Who Then/Now  poor recording, at least the first few songs. Will scroll through later

Portugal The Man - Chris Black Changed My Life

Current 93 - The Inmost Light

Smash Alternatives-14 Classic New Wave Hits(CD)HIPD-40023

Anita Baker-Rapture(CD)

Michael Tearson?(music critic) "Sometimes the masses get it right" This quote strongly applies to "Rapture". Both CD's are the perfect segue to Friday night 80's vinyl.

CCR- Chronicle: The 20 Greatest Hits. Just released today via Quboz 24/192hz.

It is claimed to be a new 2023 remaster.

Thus far...maybe, it sounds better.

About 3 1/2 hours ago, I turned on a 60’s playlist. It’s amazing how much good music there was from that era. From The Guess Who to Nancy Sinatra to Roy Orbison to the Temptations, Supremes, Marvin Gaye to Jimi to CCR to……

AC/DC-Live At River Plate(CD)

Atlantic-Ultimate '70s R&B Smashes(R2 72964/CD)

Elvis-An Afternoon In The Garden(CD)

Melissa Etheridge/ST(CD)

Another diverse mix of music! Etheridge's debut is criminally overlooked even by Audiophiles? IMO a top 25 pop/rock recording of the 1980's! River Plate is very well recorded for this genre.

Eric Clapton, Slowhand; Dire Straits, Brothers in Arms; Puccini's Turandot (Highlights) with Suterland and Pavarotii performances - Rubin Mehta conducting the orchestra... Pure joy of listening!
