Surrounded by big trees so storms are always a worry. Fingers crossed! Hopefully the noise of the USonic on overtime will be a distraction.
Back from the fishing trip and am looking forward to spinning some vinyl later today.  I have to clean all of my gear first.  No corrosion allowed!

The bluefin tuna were all small, 12 to 15 pounders.  The yellowtail were superior grade, 20 to 35 pounds.  @tomic601   Jim, I was thinking of you when pulling on the biggest yellowtail of my life.  Pound for pound, they are about the strongest of the pelagic species.  My arms are still sore.

@spiritofradio the original mono sailboat copy I have was purchased new by my father in law, it’s old and not well cared for.
The reissue I just acquired “digitally remastered from the original analog tapes” definitely has more dynamic range, and a lot fewer pops and snaps. It is mono as well.

Mounted a new Grado Opus3 LOMI cartridge today. Been burning it in all day, currently spinning Vol1 of Art’s Meet You at the Jazz Corner of the World. Then we’ll do Vol2. Already spun Rush A Farewell to Kings, Leo Kottke My Fathers Face, and Kenny Burrell at The Village Vanguard.
@j_husker congrats, i am a longtime Grado fan. TAS loved the cart you are breaking in, please do let us know how this goes…..

Wow, this was a bit of an ‘odd ball’ pick-up, and never heard of Klavier Records before, but this was beautifully recorded, great SQ, and a great pressing. On 180ish g vinyl as well, a bit unusual for an early 70’s release.
You're welcome Jim

Steve,
Cool, I believe it was released around 2015.

Been enjoying, no, extremely enjoying my system this evening in large part to a new tweek from Noteworthy Acoustics.

As you know, improvements are cumulative, and I’ve made several , significant improvements lately. Some have come from Noteworthy Audio. I have to say that they’ve all been great and I bought them. This latest, is somewhat of a game changer in my system. I can’t say it will be in your’s.

It’s a phono stage or phono preamp ground enhancer/stabilizer.... in my estimation. I’m so excited about it, I didn’t ask/warn Tim about this post. Wow!
