Hey, folks! Hope everyone is doing well.

@slaw  +1 on Morning Phase,  one of my favorite albums to spin,  production and content masterpiece

Ben Webster  - Soulville  - AP 200g 45rpm  - dear god on these Altecs it is about perfect. Heavenly
@6t5-gt0,

Hey buddy.

Roy Orbison "Mystery Girl" (deluxe)
First Aid Kit ‎- The Big Black & The Blue (Wichita 2010)

If you don't like this, you're dead to me.

@noromance ,

I remember asking you about First Aid Kit around a year ago.
Hey @slaw Yeah. I bought all their albums. Some are better than others. Comparing the vinyl to the streaming is rad. LP wipes the floor. Admittedly,  I don't have fancy DACs.
Another Freedy Johnston “Can You Fly” &  Wilco “Yankee Hotel Foxtrot” - still streaming and enjoying it. The JMR Twins playing quite nicely too
@slaw, Jim Lauderdale makes two kinds of albums: real good and great. ;-) He's an artist who straddles the line where Hard Country (as opposed to Rock Country as heard on mainstream radio) and Bluegrass intersect. I've seen him live upclose at little clubs around L.A. (last time at Pappy & Harriets Pioneertown Palace---how's THAT for a name?!---near Joshua Tree. The wonderful Rosie Flores joined him onstage for a few numbers), and he's the real deal. Great songwriter and singer, excellent taste in musicians to accompany him.
Eric,

Jim is from Troutman, NC, same as Tori Amos. I use to live in Statesville, right around the corner.
I performed a free upgrade this morning. Cleaned my ears. Works wonders!
I just bought one of those Too; half on the claims of sonic improvements and half because I need a just little shim in my current setup.  Please let me know @slaw what it sounds like to your finely tuned ears bro.

Hey @bgross, thanks for the reply, I spent years in New York and was up in Boston for work quite a lot during that time. Fun to hear your story and great to hear about your son’s interest in music.
10cc "Live and Let LIVE" pp ... the english language is sometimes strange....

@spiritofradio,

What are your impressions bro?

The thought process behind the Enabler, is very similar to my focus within my on system for years. Even the MyMat. After watching The Audiophile Man’s review, I bit.

Reflecting.......this may just be an essential cheap tweek to making the London Decca more accessible to a wider variety of tonearm owners?

@slaw

“Just ordered the OL Cartridge Enabler.”

Look forward to your review. I have been on the fence about acquiring two since my TT and tonearms are OL, but lazy about remounting both cartridges and doing my slightly insane setup process again...
@drrsutliff ,

This is all great timing. I'll certainly report back and hope the both of you will also. Thanks for the post!
@spiritofradio,

How's the MyMat working out?

Give it to me, I can take it.
@slaw maybe you missed my initial post. Haven’t done a lot of a/b comparison (with/without) but I can tell you I got more bass and overall clarity right away. Right now it’s under the 2lb stock 1200 mat (the table eeds a heavy mat regardless.). Pips up (lots of big voids in the platter). I will say I like it and it’s a very worthwhile addition, even on my sort of non-fancy rig.
@spiritofradio,

Good brother, Ask @nicks25 about his experiences. I think you both have the same tt.

The stock Technics (rubber) mat needs to go in the trash!
Slaw - the big question is how long can you hold your breath with your ears in the US cleaner ?????
@tomic601 ,

You're question has elements of hilarity and this keeps me from responding to such an off-handed question.....

You are a great poster here that provides a lot of comic relief.

My answer will be...no answer.

Love you Brother!
Joe Walsh - So What

@spiritofradio - happy to discuss my experiences with MyMat.  Feel free to PM me.
Watched Joe @ darryls' House recently....

While Joe has obviously aged, he DID have a great mark music!
