Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
@tomic601 You're too kind.

Pentangle ‎– Cruel Sister (Transatlantic 1970)

Very Jacqui album, light, sparse vocals.

Brand X - Moroccan roll
Introducing the 11th House with Larry Coryell

A couple of recent finds in great shape, sound nice.

Now David Grisman Quintet (not vinyl unfortunately)
Good job that was only 50 cents, sent me right to sleep.

Try this.

Live ... Crosby-Nash.

Better.
Sandy Denny & Johnny Silvo - Sandy & Johnny
(This must be the first time she shows up on vinyl. I'm guessing it came before the Sandy with the Strawbs lp)
Anyways, I read she did not think much of it.

Gordon Lightfoot - Sunrise
The Black Album ... Metallica.

Remastered release on two 200g lps.

SQ is spectacular!
Suzanne Vega ‎- Solitude Standing (A&M 1987 UK)
Remember she was huge? Luka? And so young? And fresh sounding. I bought this when it came out. Now she's 61. Damn.

Cochise - S/T (United Artists 1970)

The artwork on the cover sold me when I bought this off BJ Cole in the 80s.
Fairport Convention ‎- Gladys' Leap (Woodworm 1985)

Solid enough album with Ralph McTell writing some good songs. More folk rock than pure folk.

Y’all playing some great stuff...

ventured down to local audio store today for fix, social distance approved chat, vinyl, fellowship- buy the boys lunch (! Takeout )...

Dave Rawlings Machine - Nashville Obsolete

another fine sounding Acony disc Spirit !

ACNY-1512 LP
Who would have thought  Vince Welnick  would end up in the Grateful Dead. Absolutely crazy

noromance, Wooden Wand is a great band!
Damn.

Its a good job I put Kind of Blue down again!!

Well it was a cd anyway.......
@drrsutliff  - I had that record in my hand last night, then decided on a different direction....

Jeff Beck with Jan Hammer Group - “Live”
F-Mack: Rumors ( 2 LP 45 rpm Pallas Pressing )

btw, if you ever find yourself dragged thru the tourist trap Lahaina- Fleetwoods has an awesome groove and fantastic Margaritas... live tunes.... dark... lovely
@tomic601 Nice. I think it was Steve that turned me on to WW.
Speaking of which, @slaw is MIA.
@noromance funny I have Cochise on now :-) the cover is mountainous

As is

California Soul - Tamba4

@Slaw u ok ????
Closing it down with an appropriate tune for our times ( iMO )

Loggins and Messina - Same Old Wine
@noromance , @tomic601 ,

So far, the national emergency hasn't affected my work schedule yet, so I'll be here later on today. Thanks.

BTW, Wooden Wands was boxer12 suggestion.
@drrsutliff ,

Noticed you play "Future Games" often. It's one of my FM favorites. Have you searched out a superior pressing? I think both of mine are steamboat/Reprise/US.
The Rolling Stones "Miss You" pp

Hate to say it but I took this lp off. I bought it years ago from Tom Port for $20.00. He said it was a good sounding pressing. I can now disagree...sounds grating and in your face.
