I don't have Qobus, but I am a Tidal subscriber. I want to share that Tidal would also on some occasions stop mid-stream. and yes, I know it's not my home network, but Tidal.

I have never had any issues. My internet is 40 mps download capable, although slightly slower in real world use. My connection is wired to a Cambridge streamer and wi-fi to my WiiM streamer. Good luck

I posted recently about a similar problem with QC. I use an Innuos Pulse with a Bryston BDA3. The BDA-3 uses mechanical relays to switch resolution to preserve SQ but there is an inherent delay. With Sense, there is a setting to adjust for that, but with QC, that setting is bypassed. As a result, the beginning of songs gets cut off or stutters.
I've worked with both Innuos and Bryston support about this. Innuos determined that QC bypasses the Pulse internal player and doesn't allow the built in settings to work. Bryston acknowledged the issue and is working on a fix.
It seems that QC is more compatible with some setups than others. I've stopped using it. Hopefully future firmware updates will address the issues.

In response to boxcarman's question, I noticed his particular problem with QC and Aurender in the showroom of a high end dealer using their very best equipment.
The problem overall in intermittent, but serious enough to interfere with the listening experience.
At home, I have a Simaudio 891. So, the newest technology. Qobuz works perfectly with Roon, but the problem persists with Qobuz connect.
It the problem of not being able to play tracks may depend on the streamer/dac. If so, Qobuz needs to identify the problem, fix it, and do a better job of certifying companies and their products and working with Qobuz connect.

Doubt if it is a Connect issue but I have lots of play stoppage when using CarPlay.

I have not converted from conductor. Any advantages of Qobuz connect over Aurender conductor?

Yes, it seems that some days are better than others. Annoying. I sometimes wonder if the cache for the streamer is too small. Someone please tell me if the Aurender has this problem as I am looking at the new A1000.

No issues using Qobuz Connect through a WiiM Ultra. Could it be a problem with your network?

I’ve also seen this on QC but I’ve seen it in Roon also. I do think QC sounds better than going through Roon and I don’t know why it would. But the thing that bugs me the most about QC is that the playback progress bar is way out of sync with the music. I’m willing to put up with it because it sounds great.

I've experienced that issue on Connect, but very, very intermittently. That said, I've experienced it previously with Roon so I put it down to network issues.

Perhaps unrelated to your Qobuz Connect problem, but I occasionally get a similar stop of play with Qobuz through Roon on my Eversolo A6. But if I play Qobuz directly there is no issue. That makes me wonder if it’s a processor issue with my Nucleus One. But a simple stream on a strong wifi connection, with no DSP, shouldn’t be a heavy lift.

Qobuz Connect and WiiM Pro Plus has issues with gapless playback.
Playing classical music and live recordings is no good!
I use JPLAY with my Qobuz subscription.
Works like a dream.
And it's better looking on my Mac too :)

I had the problem initially but it disappeared and I suspected a server issue.
I use the S1 Aries.
Some have suspected Country Server issues.
Qobuz Club and Beta thread had complaints initially but they seem to have dropped off.
I live in the Southeast US.

Works perfect with my ps audio airlens. It actually sounds better than Roon using Linux. But the interface needs some work IMO.

Qubuz works fine with Roon. Qobuz Connect should avoid the need for an additional software layer. It is Qobuz Connect without an additional software layer, working directly with devices which has caused problems for a number of people.

Had the problem only once after an update, but clear sailing ever since. I use it with an Eversolo DMP-A8.

I would do a trial with Audirvana. I have Qobuz with Audirvana and absolutely no issues. Your sound quality will be amazing. The two work well together.

I have the same problem. They suggest restarting devices but that doesn't help.

Have been on a back-and-forth email with InnuOs About this issue. It definitely appears that there is a few bugs in the connect. Figure the more of us that let them know about this issue the faster they will get to work on the bugs.
