Quicksilver V4 amps with KT150
My pair or V4, purchased new in 2011, are now discontinued which is too bad for tube lovers.  These monos really showed me how music can sound like music, not just sterile dynamics with no soul.  They also do not sound slow, thick or mushy like ma...
Dunlavy returns
Had the 4a’s in light oak.  With grills on they looked like coffins.  Enjoyed them till I went to my atf, ET LFT-8b.
Input output cable question
Galvanic isolation will be best.  As to specific input, each manufacturer has their own fav.  Chord’s Rob Watts the designer generally recommends optical input as it offers best performance and isolation.     Couple good optical cables out there....

@riverdinaudio & @bdp24 , Guys, If a new LFT- 7 is coming, please keep me informed. I’m in SWFL and a drive north for audition doable.
Finally Bought Chord Qutest
I found this while doing a search on Chord Qutest….       Chord's Perspective: While some users have experimented with LPSs, Rob Watts, the designer of the Qutest, has stated that he does not recommend them and suggests using optical i...

Eminent Technology LFT 7 !!
Owned the ET LFT-8b for 15 year, upgraded the base driver then the tweeters to get to a level b.  Bruce made it easy and economical for Eminent Technology owners to upgrade.  Super nice guy, always gracious with his phone time.  Never got to the C...
Finally Bought Chord Qutest
With the Qutest is it true Rob Watts prefers optical over coax connection when outputting 24-bit 192kHz?

ClassDAudio.com product...any owners can input?
These have been around for so long but not many reviews.  As an owner of what used to be a pair of ET-LFT8B panel speakers, these were sleepers of the century with almost no reviews but if one had the room and the right equipment, they were bargai...
Has anyone switched from Class AB/A to Class D? Was it better? Was it worse?
Thank you Ralph for your thoughts.  I can see your points, they are best to be considered .  Atma-Sphere systems at home can be somewhat problematic especially if not placed in dedicated audio rooms, the heat alone and then to a lesser degree, poc...
Has anyone switched from Class AB/A to Class D? Was it better? Was it worse?
I can understand the attraction from A/b or even A if current is a problem to a class D amp.  But tubes are not something I hear and can easily go to a class D system unless heat or space is the consideration.  A preference for tubes is in a class...
Class d amplification
Only a two year warranty is somewhat concerning , no?
